Love Dr Souther he cares for multiple family members of mine. Today I came to get a DNR signed for my father who is very ill. The first receptionist was very kind and went to get the paperwork for me. I then returned after my father signed it for Dr Souther sign. Veronica said ok I will put it on his desk and I said I will be right here waiting her reply was he probably won't do it. I do work in the medical field and found her response very rude along with the body language. Especially with something as important as a DNR. Try to show some compassion.
Didn’t get back to after many requests in mychart and phone calls.
Very caring and understanding
Saw him looking for a CFS/FM-aware internist, not for the Dx or treatment, just to mind the store. Don't believe his Health Grades condition list. In return for letting him see my records, he basically called me a hypochondriac, notably, like others he'd met from NASA. (Did all them nerds get CFS too?) Told me to "find a role" in society--my having moved cross-country to attempt that P/T job, a chance this condition seldom affords, apparently didn't count. Thanks for the memories, guy!
time. well time is of the essence in modern medicine, isn't it? I did medical transcription for 16 years, so I know the constraints doctors experience in our modern system. Dr. Souther took the time, although it, without doubt, made him late all day, to explain to me, rather than shame me, about smoking and diabetes. As a result, I quit smoking two years ago. It must be difficult to make that kind of time to help a patient with what is, let's face it, a self-inflicted wound, but he did. Because

It must be difficult to make that kind of time to help a patient with what is, let's face it, a self-inflicted wound, but he did. Because he took that time, I finally ended an expensive and deadly habit. Looking for a doctor who still does his best to be a personal physician? This is the man.
I saw Dr. Souther last week, for the first time. He was very friendly, personable and professional. I felt like I had seen a REAL doctor for the first time in 15 years! He asked a lot of questions, answered a lot of questions and seemed genuinely concerned, about my concerns. He spent a lot of time with me...never seemed rushed. The office staff was great, as was the lady in the lab. I would highly recommend Dr. Souther, if you're looking for a new physician.
Dr. Souther is a great doctor. I have been his patient for about 4 years and he treats me like he has known me all my life. He listens to all of my issues and has his nurse follow up. I even told him he needed to give me a stern lecture about my weight and he sat down and talked with me for about 15 minutes and we agreed on a game plan.
I have never been to a better physician in my life. He never disappoints me in the time he takes with any issue I have, and I honestly don't know what I would do if he ever leaves the area. I hope he always keeps this level of professionalism and care. It took me a while to find a primary care physician who genuinely cared about his patients, and I have seen many. His staff is also always willing to help with any issue that arises...just an exceptional group of people...
Very upfront with patient relations. Definitely by the book. Good staff rapport. Great followup!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
