Had a colonoscopy by this so called doctor I would not recommend him to any one till he goes back to school. I have had two other colonoscopy's by two other doctors and never this bad

Dr. Harris is an wonderful doctor. He has taken good care of me for over 20 + years I love ❤️ him

I was referred for hemorrhoid surgery but his staff indicated he would have to do a colonoscopy first, a procedure apparently not necessary prior to the surgery according to my research. He attempted a colonoscopy when I was not given enough pain medication. An endoscopy was also done beforehand which went well but by the time the endoscopy was completed, the pain med for the colonoscopy had worn off which is a good thing, I guess, as he was using the wrong size scope, even though I had indicated several times the necessity to use a paedriatric scope. He kept attempting to force it until I asked him to please stop or else give me more pain medication. He refused the extra pain medication so I asked him to stop. He did so but indicated he would have to do this under anesthesia. He will NOT be allowed to put me under so I can't let him know if I'm in pain as I fear his roughness and determination to complete the procedure regardless might lead to a puncture of my bowel. Also, he did not take time to speak with me before or after to let me know he had found something of concern during the endoscopy. I hear he is a good surgeon but the colonoscopy, I'm afraid will only be done by a gastroenterologist, a doctor skilled in that particular field as I am now reluctant to have this procedure done at all. This was a horrible experience for me so I will be steering clear of this person in the future.

He is awful- thinks being a surgeon makes him god. Grow up- you are not that important.

During colostomy of 82 year old, now traumatized, mother, Dr. Harris ignored her pleas for more sedation from the excruciating pain she was enduring, his reply? "I'm almost done." Then continued the colostomy for 10 more minutes. Basically a sadistic horse doctor. Avoid at all costs.

I am totally satisfied with Dr Harris. He listened and gave a professional opinion. I first met him on a Sunday morning. He came quickly to the ER and performed what he needed to do. I appreciate him helping me in my time of need. Thank you for my life! Dr. Harris

Visited Dr. Harris with my mother who had been having issues with A-fib as well as kidney failure, and COPD. We thought we would never get in to see him and finally did following 3 ER visits and 2 hospitalizations. He diagnosed her with Afib and Diastolic Heart failure. I'm sure that is a correct diagnosis and I have no doubt he's a good doctor. My mother is 84. He rushed through the visit like he was in a race. He spoke so quickly...it truly was a blitz. I fail to see how anyone is getting good healthcare this way. There is literally no time to ask a question. There was a frantic searching through medical records to get information and then pronouncements of new meds that were needed. I understand that doctors are under the gun with so many patients to see, but there needs to be at least a nurse that follows the doctor with instructions and information to make sure the patient fully understands what just happened in the session, and to give the patient and any family member a chance to ask a question regarding medications or diagnosis. I think it would be super helpful if in-demand specialists like Dr. Harris who have heavy patient loads, could have a support staff to be advocates for patients. This could be a huge help to doctors, patients, and their families.
