List of Angelina Frias's Reviews
I saw Dr Frias about 8 years ago and she was fantastic. She guided me towards the help that I needed and an eventual resolution. I have a new issue that I need help with so I made an appointment. I called and got the appointment with the person who answered the phone. It was about 2 months out. A week before my appointment, I got a call asking for my updated insurance information since it had been so long since I had been seen and I forwarded that to the lady who called me. When I arrived to the appointment, I was told I could not be seen because it had been so long since I was seen prior to that day. I was furious because I was not aware of this policy and had spoken with two different employees and acknowledged it had been quite a while and neither stated that there was a time frame for being seen as a new patient vs a current patient. I was sent home with no relief or even being allowed to talk to the Dr. I will not be going back.
Great Dr...
I've been a patient of Dr. Frias for several years now and I am happy with her spectrum of knowledge on various conditions. After my son was born and I suffered physical injuries, she really helped in ruling out several potential long term issues. She was very kind and courteous as well. She is definitely blunt, which I appreciate. I am overweight and she does remind me each time I visit, but I don't mind. She is quite thorough and though some appointments do seem rushed, those are typically afternoon appointments and rushing makes sense because most doctors are running late by that time. I feel confident in my choice for her as my PCP and I even drive the 25 minutes to see her now that I have moved from Norfolk to Virginia Beach.
She is such a caring doctor she loves her patients she even calls after hours personally to make sure you are fine.
She may be a great doctor but I would expect my Doctor to return a phone call after leaving 7 plus messages, each with a phone number to call. Still have not received a phone call from her. The last phone call I initiated was with her office manager and while she was quite kind and apologetic about the situation, the doctor still has not called. So sad
I love Dr Frias she has always referred me to the right specialist for every issue I have , she listens to my specific needs and she even calls me personally to give me my lab results.
Very detailed and caring
can't keep up with patients or refilling Rxs on time "overwhelmed" her words
Dr Frias started seeing me after my Dr retired. I feel that I have built a relationship with her over the past year. She is compassionate, listens, answers my questions, and explores the reasons for a myriad of unexplained health issues. She is good about calling with tests results or concerns, usually after office hours in the evening. I appreciate her skills and her willingness to take me on as a new patient. (Over the past 6 yrs, I've noticed the office staff is sometimes "lacking" but will not lower Dr Frias' rating because of these concerns.)
love the time she spends with me. She explains things and refers if need be. I am glad they have their own lab tec in there own office. That makes it easier to have lab work done. Waiting time has also improved. Want a caring doctor, who really cares, she is the one you have been looking for.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
