List of Frank Taylor Wootton Iii's Reviews
I’ve been in the hospital for days and have not been able to pinpoint what’s been going on with me. Dr. Wooton was ready to leave the room the second he walked in and seemed to have no interest in answering any questions or alleviating any stresses or worries. Seemed like his only intention was to make me feel stupid for even having questions or concerns.
Terrible doctor - gets annoyed and spends little time with post-operation questions. This guy is in it only for the money. Typical of Hampden Sydney over-privileged graduates.
I had a great experience at his practice and would recommend him to others.
Dr Wootton can do colonoscopies but he is a very poor diagnostician. He often came into my appointments not having read my files or noting what meds I was taking even from his orders. Ended up I had to diagnose myself and make appointments with other doctors. I believe he is ill prepared for his specialty. You're basically on your own especially if you are a Medicare patient.
If you are considering this doctor to help you solve problems, find another doctor! He is very close to retiring according to him but according to me he already has retired. He has no empathy and to me seems very lazy.
I asked Dr. Wooten to please do the colonoscopy when they were doing the endoscopy so my 87 year old mother would not be sedated twice! He told me he did not want to put her through the prep if he didn’t have to. She is now waiting to be “fit in” at 3:00 pm after having nothing to eat or drink since midnight! This was after one of his partners told us she had done fine in the endoscopy and she hadn’t even had it yet. Horrible practice!!!!
Dr. Wootton was wonderful. I just got out of the hospital with acute pancreatitis. No one at the hospital could give me any answers as to why i developed this problem. Dr. Wootton was not like that. He wants and is trying to look for what is the root cause of my problem!
I waited for a phone call that never came on testing results. I just received a letter in the mail over a week after my procedure. Even if the results were normal and therefore we are still seeking for what ails me, I would have appreciated a phone call expressing interest and telling me the results and telling me to call and make another appointment so we can get to the bottom of my problem.
Very kind and friendly manner. Makes eye contact and listens attentively. Gives adequate time to patients without interruptions. Discusses patients health issues with patience and thoroughness. Problem solves with patient and treats patients with dignity and respect.
Ease of scheduling, open to questions

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
