We had an unbelievable experience during such a stressful time with our son’s leg injury. My husband and I are confident that our son had the best surgeon in Fairfield County operate on him. After 120 days he is at 90% strength in his leg according to his physical therapist.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Torbert, he is kind and compassionate . I traveled from the Outerbanks for my orthopedic problems to see him. At my frist visit with Dr Torbert he diagnosed my condition after taking X- rays in his office and explained in layman’s terms showing me the X-rays as well and what I needed to do. So refreshing to find a doctor these days who will take extra time to answer your questions and ease your mind.

I am very grateful that Dr. Torbert was on call when my daughter was in a critical car accident and was taken to the trauma unit at Chippenham Trauma Center. My daughter is still in the recovery period but I have faith that she will have a normal gait and be able to do all things that a young adult should be able to do. He has been caring and professional and has gone above and beyond to answer all our questions and has reviewed all xrays of the fractures with us at every visit. I believe he really cares that my daughter makes a full recovery.

Dr. Torbert cared for me for five months after a traumatic car accident. He is extremely knowledgeable and listened to me when there were issues with the injuries. I appreciate his willingness to spend quite a bit of time with me during appointments and answer all of my questions. While it took a long time to fully recover, I am happy to say that the many fractures I endured have healed and I am completely healed and walk as if nothing happened!
