I have had some very abnormal stool, which is why I visited Dr. Konikoff. I have pictures of my stool to show doctors and he refused to look at the pictures. Every time he asked about m stool he asked me to pick from a chart of stool pictures and tell him which one os closest to my stool. None of these pictures represented my stool (which is why I was there in the 1st place). Every time I told him that my stool looks nothing like the pictures, he just kept saying choose which one is closest.

Dr. Konikoff has been my daughter’s (who has Rett Syndrome) GI specialist for 3 years. We are relocating to Texas and very sad to leave and not be under his care anymore. He was always very responsive to any concerns we have had and never dismissive. Very knowledgeable! Very kind! Gives you all your options and offers help whenever you need it. We learned a lot over the years. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Konikoff is an excellent doctor. He took his time to explain his diagnosis and treatment strategy. After my son underwent a procedure, he met us in the hospital and once again took plenty of time to answer any questions and address concerns. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Konikoff is a wonderful GI doctor. He is very patient and asks all kinds of questions to try and figure out what is going on. My son is Autistic and loves going to see Dr. Konikoff and actually talks to him now. Dr. Konikoff is very thorough.

Dr. Konikoff has been the best GI doctor for my son! I moved 2 hours away and still drive to him because he genuinely cares about his patients. He’s great at informing and explaining results, never makes you feel rushed to get the appointment done and always makes sure he answers any questions you have!

Dr. Konikoff really helped us through a very frightening time - everything from diagnosis, to surgery, to finally getting things under control. He was very thorough, made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way - and has even called on Saturdays to check on my daughter.
