This man deserves zero stars. He should not be practicing medicine. He was rude and condescending. I left the appointment with bruises because he didn't listen when I told him the BP cuff was hurting me. Told me to be quiet. He also spoke to me with his back to me throughout the majority of the appointment
If I could give zero stars I would. He should not be practicing medicine. He was rude and condescending. For a Nov 19, 2019 office visit for my elderly mother (meant to rate sooner) Dr Santacruz did not even examine my elderly mom, he talked & typed into the computer, glanced at her once. His report said no abdominal pain, no joint pain, no murmurs, no so on & so on but he never even looked her except for the glance. Also his assessment said she had: gout & a dislocation of RT shoulder - NOPE she does ...
My very first day 3-4-2020 & i met my new p.c., Dr. Santa Cruz, MD very nice experience the staff/the nurse who took my blood pressure/told me it was high/she said she was glad i came! I would've never known, THANKS to her.
Dr. Santa Cruz was the Attending Physician when I had my gallbladder surgery, he has great bedside manner & is very comforting. We plan to make him our new pcp. As we're not satisfied with our current p.cp. & his staff. The nurses are kind of rude, & he's not a good Dr. , very dismissive & doesn't follow up with necessary testing., unless it's something that will make him a lot of money.
I have been a patient since moving to Va a little over a year ago. Dr. Santacruz made me feel like I was crazy after he tells me I dont have an autoimmune disease Ive had since 2011, wont refer me to rheumatology. He never listens to ANY concerns I always feel really rushed and he spends about 2 mins in the room. I almost couldnt have spine surgery because his office did not put in orders for a procedure ...
Completely ignored all of my health concerns. Spent a total of three minutes in the room. Don’t take on new patients if you don’t have the time to do your job.
I stopped going to Doctors in general because I was tired of feeling like something was wrong, and paying a bunch of money for an MD to tell me it’s nothing. This Doctor is just another example of that- completely ignored all of my concerns, told me I was healthy and to come back in 12 months. Probably spent a total of 3 minutes in the room. Now I’m going to be awaiting a large bill for no reason. ...
He (Dr. Cruz) is the absolute WORST and performing despicable (if not illegal) practices!!! You go in for a visit and rather than him actually looking at what’s wrong, he asks a few questions and makes a diagnostics withOUT ever looking at the patients issues and then CHARGES you for LOOKING at those issues.... what in the world!?!?!? How does this Dr still have his license!?!?!? He’s straight up ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
