Rohit Roh Adyanthaya's Online Review Report Card

I had a retinal detachment on July 5, 2022. Dr. Adyanthaya aka as Dr. Rho seen me immediately and did laser surgery. He was kind and gentle and explained each step. In addition to the laser surgery, we also had to do a Vitrectomy. On operation day....he gave me a " fist bump "....which made all the difference. He SAVED my eye. I owe this man much more than just this review. I am a Dr. as well as a PhD Organic Chemistry teacher and Author. I had an unexpected retinal detachment. I got in quickly even though I live an hour and a half away. Dr. Roh had a very calm and confident manner that evoked confidence in the diagnosis and his treatment of it. He also called the night of the first procedure to check on me and make sure all was going well. My wife and I were very impressed and would highly recommend Dr. Roh and Virginia Eye Consultants. After a week, I was released to normal activity. It was a tough week, but I had a great outcome and I believe Dr. Roh played a big part in that.

Great care

This is my 2nd eye Dr. (Row) has fixed! My left 2 years ago and my right last week. My retina tore both times and as usual, he does an outstanding job! Not only does he fix it excellently and right the 1st time medically, but he has the best, friendliest attitude! He's always pleasant and positive and doesn't make you feel like a number, but a human he cares about! And the staff behind him is just as professional and friendly! I highly recommend Dr. (Row) and his team!

Dr Panda started the process with an after hour check up with me on June 20th. On June 21st, I returned to Virginia Eye Consultants and everyone I came in contact with were true professionals. Dr Adyanthaya diagnosed me with a detached retina and explained to me two options to rectify the problem. We started with the in office laser surgery. He did an exceptional job, then explained how I need to sleep during the healing process. Then I returned the next day for a follow up and he said everything looked good. He called me on the 23rd to check up on me. I never had a Dr do that before. From my response, he said my next appointment can wait until the 29th. Again on the 29th, everyone were true professionals. Dr Adyanthaya examined my eye and said everything was good. He showed me one spot that needed laser touch-up surgery and he performed that professionally. He truly cares about his patients. Couldn't ask for a better Dr. See you in 3 months.

From my welcoming reception at the door, the staff was polite, friendly and put me at ease. The nursing staff and assistants were friendly, helpful and put me at ease as well and waiting time was not long. Doctor Adyanthaya, was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to get my medical history and answered all of my questions. He started treatment the same day, after the consultation which enabled me to start immediately and afterwards just made follow up appointments for my other eye and follow up. And as a very busy person, I appreciated this immensely. I have lived in 3 states and seen many doctors over the years and can easily report that he is amongst the best I have ever met.

Every staff member was professional and friendly. The office is very organized. Dr. Adyanthaya was also very pleasant and professional—he took his time explaining my test results and the recommended follow up. I would highly recommend Virginia Eye Consultants…
