If you love waiting a minimum of an hour to be seen, this is the place for you. Though some of their doctors are ok, it's not worth it to me. They have no respect for your time. You have to take a significant amount of time off from the very job that provides the insurance for you to go see these people. Although some are nice and apologetic, doesn't take away from the fact that they are never ready for you. I've been here for years and I'm finally over it. I got to my appointment early like they tell you to do, then waited over an hour and a half to even be seen before finally walking out. And if you are calling for an appointment, good luck because your wait will be at least 10mins and if you choose to press 2 to leave a message, no one will get back to you in even 72hrs.

I agree with the other reviews this place has gone down hill and I have been going her for 20 years. Will find new DR.

I enjoyed talking to Laura O'Neal she very attentive and we both watch each other face expression. When I'm mad she really just listen to how I feel and sometimes you just need a listen ear she is sweet

I trust them more then any other gynecologist clinics

I was terrified having to have a TLH, but you reassured me that you would take care of me like family, and you DEFINITELY did. Thank you for a healthy experience before and after. I absolutely HATE Pap smears but tell me how my experience here with Dr. Harris-Proctor and staff was so good, I actually look forward to my next annual exam? I am a nervous patient yet the staff was personable and quick. There was a reasonable wait for me to see the doctor after doing the initial paperwork, urine exam, etc. Dr. Harris-Proctor was kind, professional, empathetic. Her bedside manner is one that I wish all doctors had. Same with the nurse. I didn't catch her name but she, too, showed sincere care and concern. I'll leave it at this--I left my Pap smear--a routine check-in where I get so anxious over I sometimes cry about it--feeling empowered and inspired. Dr. Harris-Proctor was SO GOOD she legit had me consider going to med school just so I could help others as she helped me. Thank you!

I really enjoy coming and talking to Laura O'Neal she very understanding and she always 😃 she is a good person to go talk about recent problem or some that just start up . I like the fact that when you are talking to her she makes good eye contact.

Dr. Puritz has been my ob for the last year. I can't speak enough about how wonderful she is. During my pregnancy I saw a few different doctors but every nurse, lab tech and receptionist has been incredible. They are kind and make you feel at ease. The ladies always remember you and treat you like family. When you are tired and pregnant just to see a kind and friendly face is a joy. This location is a smaller location but I appreciated that. As far as the previous bad reviews I can't speak to the birth control shot. As far as the waiting, I do know that the doctors can get behind. If they arrive late due to traffic or they have a longer appointment than expected it can affect your wait time. I will say I personally think it's worth the wait. This practice has won best of Hampton roads a few years in a row so I think that speaks for itself.

I thought the staff was amazing. They were understanding and made me feel welcome. It was my first time coming there and after how much they helped me, I will be using them for all my gynecological needs.
