Best of the best and one of the nicest people I've ever met

After seeing Dr Dame and not being heard for the last 3+ years, I fired her today. She has consistently ignored my needs and acts like a child that is easily grossed out by a medical issue. She actually said "Eww, no I can't do that!" I had requested her to remove a piece of charcoal sitting just under my skin. Some doctor. The straw that broke my temper with her was her arbitrarily changing my prescription from another doctor when I needed a refill! This was no controlled substance, just a maintenance drug. After she changed it, I could tell that I needed it more. I'd previously had to be hospitalized for this to be administered by IV. Since I'd reached a controlled level, she decided I no longer needed it! I knew my body had stopped making it on it's own. When I requested it to be added back to my medication regime, I received 2 different phone calls, neither from her, just some random office person with an attitude. I was frustrated AND Irritated at this point. Fired her

I have lived in several different areas and have had to acquire new doctors with each move. Dr. Dame is truly the best doctor I have ever had. She takes the time to get to know her patient. She carefully considers all aspects of the patient's history, health issues and medications. I especially appreciate her explanations of conditions and recommended treatment.
