I feel truly blessed to have Tidewater Eye Center as my doctors. Coming from a family who has lost their vision early in their lives, my parents always had our vision checked each year. We have continued this policy. When I developed optical vein occlusion, Tidewater Eye did not have a retina specialist on staff so I had to go to Norfolk for treatment. At one point I was legally blind in my right eye. Tidewater Eye was so fortunate to find Dr. KORI ELKINS who was much more aggressive in her treatment and I have regained about 80 percent of my vision. With Dr. Elkins, along with the expertise of DR. ROGER NEWSOME, I know that I have an OUTSTANDING team to allow me every opportunity to the beauty that surrounds me every day.

Dr. Elkins is an excellent doctor. She is caring and compassionate. She answers any questions I have in a way I can easily understand. I have been in her care for many years. I would probably be considered legally blind if I was not receiving eye treatments from her. I also see Dr. Edmonds. The two doctors coordinate my eye care. The office staff is great also. They are professional and caring. I highly recommend this office and the doctors if you need eye care.

I have always been satisfied with the doctors I have encountered. Dr. Elkins is extremely good about communicating with me and letting me know about my condition. I would recommend her to anybody. The office staff is also very polite and helpful.

This is for my husband who sees Dr. Elkins every month. His words, she is the best. Because of her I understand all that is happening in this journey. The best part is I am not on edge totally comfortable with the whole thing.
