I have seen Dr Herlihy for respiratory issues. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. Tests were taken, and I was given appropriate treatment and soon after, my condition improved. The level of competency and confidence I felt during that visit made all the difference to me. As a professional of 42 years, I have also observed Dr Herlihy perform under the most stressful situations. She has dealt with difficult patients and families with utmost respect. She is truly an asset to pulmonary associates. This group has some of the finest doctors I have ever had the privilege of knowing and working with. I would trust Dr Herlihy with my life.

I see Dr. Herlihy for my asthma. She has greatly helped me with this problem. Prior to becoming her patient, I was constantly short of breath and wheezing. When I came to Dr. Herlihy, she changed my medications, and my asthma improved very much. Now, I have a new lease on life. I don't even have to carry an inhaler with me! I am active again and can do my work without wheezing. She explains things very clearly and in a manner that is easy to remember. She is a very kind doctor and is easy to talk to. Also, her assistant is very experienced and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Herlihy.

I MET DR. DR. HERLIHY ON MY JOB. I WENT TO TELL HER ABOUT A PATIENT WHO WAS IN SEVERE RESPIRATORY DISTRESS, AND AS I WAS HAVING MY OWN BREATHING ISSUES, SHE SAID WHAT ABOUT YOU. I SAID PATIENT FIRST. WE GOT THE PATIENT STABLE, THEN SHE ASKED ME WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH ME. I TOLD HER, SHE CALLED HER OFFICE AND SAW ME 7:30 THAT NIGHT. SHE LISTENED TO ME ABOUT MY SYMPTOMS, EXAMINED, TESTED AND PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS FOR ME. SHE LISTENED TO ME. DR. HERLIHY SAVED MY LIFE, LITERALLY. HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS IMPECCABLE AND BEYOND REPROACH. DR. HERLIHY IS SMART, INTELLIGENT, WITTY,KNOWLWDGEABLE, AND REALISTIC CRITICAL CARE PULMONARY INTENSIVISTS THAT I HAVE MET. HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS TRUE AND SINCERE EVEN WHEN THE RESULTS ARE NOT GREAT, SHE PUTS YOU AT EASE WITH HER WIT AND CHARM. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO MY WHOLE FAMILY IF THEY WERE LOCAL. I AM GRATEFUL TO HAVE CROSSED PATHS WITH HER, BECAUSE AFTER ALL, SHE SAVED MY LIFE. AND I TRUST HER WITH IT.

Dr. Herlihy misdiagnosed my father in the ICU with an interstitial lung disease when in fact he had a Transfusion Related Acute Lung Injury (TRALI). She had written him off because of his age (90) and told him and our family he was going to die. After we insisted he be intubated, she did a bronchoscopy, removing a ton of mucous from his lungs which had been hindering his breathing. If we had listened to her, my father would not be here today.

Dr. Kaiser was very thorough and knowledgeable and spent time with me to ensure I was well informed on how to manage my illness. He used terms that were easy to understand and provided plenty of time for me to ask questions. My interaction with him has been very positive. I would recommend him to anyone.
