List of Alicia Mooty's Reviews
I'm a new patient and I made an appointment several weeks ago. Two days or so before my appointment I received a text that my appointment was at 2:00 pm and to confirm. Well I arrived at my appointment at 2:05 pm thinking I was okay just a few minutes late due to the office being inside another office with a different name because the office had moved. The receptionist told me that I was late my appointment was at 1:30 because I'm a new patient they always asked you to arrive half hour earlier to fill out paperwork she also stated that they always give the spill on the office being inside another office. I explained that I traveled a distance had to arrange transportation and that I received a text reminder of my appointment being at 2:00 not 1:30 had they wanted me there at 1:30 regardless if I'm new or existing patient the text confirmation should've stated 1:30 it's to remind and confirm not confuse. I showed her the text the appointment stated 2:00 but she stated I was still late it was 2:05 it's their policy to reschedule when you're half hour late! She also gave me the paperwork which I could've completed less than 10 minutes. Needless to say the text confirmation did nothing but cause me issues and wasted time and gas. I never was seen at a Dr office where I didn't have to wait, I did see people in the waiting area waiting. I'm so disappointed and still in pain which was the purpose of my visit. No exception to their rules or policy. Maybe they should add a little more detail about arrival time versus actual appointment time especially when sending out confirmations.
I am writing this on behalf of my mother, who attempted to be seen in this office multiple times for examination of a painful foot. Not only was her initial appointment cancelled with less than 12 hours of notice before appointment time, but her second appointment (scheduled 2 weeks out from the initial appointment despite the acute nature of her foot pain) was also cancelled on the day of that appointment with no explanation. The front desk staff were curt when frustration was expressed regarding her appointment being cancelled two times. She called back to try to schedule a third appointment, and no one from the office even returned her phone call. I understand one appointment being cancelled as a function of personal or professional emergencies, but to be cancelled two times with incredibly short notice and to be on the receiving end of curt remarks from front desk staff is completely unacceptable, not to mention no follow-up to reschedule for a third time. As a health care professional myself, I understand the challenges of working with many patients in a day and how communication can be a challenge-but the above highlights unacceptable actions and a patient left without a provider. This is wrong.
I would like to thank the Dr.Sagar Shah for his services. He is an excellent dr, and I would refer him to any body.
Dr. Shah is an amazing doctor. His bedside manor is what is missing from most doctors today, one reason he is able to be as good as he is is because of his wonderful nurse who is truly his right hand. They make you feel at ease and knowledgeable about everything that is happening to you. He truly goes above and beyond and is worth the drive for us to see him. (45 minutes)
Excellent care from Dr. Shah who is very concerened and caring. His knowledge of Podiatry is excellent and he makes great recommendatiosn to patients.
It is not often that you cannot find enough good words to describe a doctor. They are few and far between. This man really cares about his patients. He looks at you not the laptop. I am a senior citizen and have been with enough doctors to know an outstanding one when I see it. He is very gentle but firm when he needs to be. I do respect and trust this doctor with any foot problems I have.
Dr. Shah was extreamely informative, polite and personable during my recent visit. We discussed several avenues of treatment to correct my problem and I feel certain that I'm in excellent hands. In addition, the entire staff were friendly and helpful.
This doctor took the time to listen to me, when you look 9in his eyes you can tell he really cares about you and he makes your appointment with him feel like a one-on-one session as if you’re his only patient. He works hard to get to the bottom of your issue, and is encouraging about a patient health. He even said if I had any foot issues call him immediately. I left feeling great, hopeful and like he really had my back. This doctor doesn’t have his face dived into a computer like so any, he is hands on, nonjudgmental and makes even a nervous patient feel safe. Friendly and profession and personal describes hi and his entire staff. Like all doctors offices there is a minor wait, but it was so fast and I was floored at how quickly I saw Dr. Shah, he was in my room almost immediately after I talked to a nurse and he looked over my x-rays with me. I have never seen such a caring and personal specialist outside of tv shows and films. You need a good podiatrist you go Google somebody else, you want a GREAT podiatrist with a staff that matches and an remarkable experience, you go to Dr. Shah
Dr Sagar Shah is an efficient , professional, kind and he has. Good sense of humor . He shows that he ares about his patients . I had gone to another doctor who said my foot was fine . Well it wasn’t fine and it got worse . I looked online to find another podiatrist as it got to the point I could not walk much on the bottom of my foot . He tried to take care of it in his office but it was too painful for me . He said he didn’t want to do it as I was in pain . He had the nurse and front desk set up an appointment at the hospital . Dr Sagar Shah did something that no doctor I had ever did for after surgery . He wrote out the prescriptions then so when I had the surgery I didn’t have to wait in line to fill my prescription . As I had them at home . He called the next day to see how I was feeling and to call anytime if there was a problem . At my check ups after surgery he wanted to know how my foot was . Dr Shah is the kind of doctor and Podiatrist that every patient with a foot problem hoped to have . Dr Shah answered any questions I had . I am happy to have found a podiatrist like Dr Sagar Shah . I highly recommend Dr Sagar Shah . Dr Sagar Shah has an office at 4730 Puddledock Road Prince George. , Va
Dr. Shah was very attentive to all of my concerns, and allowed me to explain everything. He was thorough with the treatment plan explanations and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I would highly recommend him for any of your foot and ankle problems!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
