I had pneumonia and it came to my attention my lungs were in terrible shape. Pulmonary Associates did a lung biopsy and diagnosed me with sarcoidousis. I was given perscriptions for a year which did nothing. After sometime of seeing the doctor with no change it was suggested to me that it may not be sarcoidousis and that I quit my job of 20 years. They said it maybe occupational lung disease. I was left with no real diagnosis or solution except to quit my job on a whim with no follow up or anymore information.They said they would set up more tests for me and I have not heard back. Left in limbo with ailing lungs...

My husband had a PET scan done which was not very auspicious. After some effort got to speak with the nurse practitioner, Candice Ocampo. We were really surprised that she was making decisions -not the doctor- about where to do biopsies related to the PET scan report. When we actually saw the report, the last line stated that "the radiologist left a message at 4:25 PM for quick attention since neither the physician nor the nurse practitioner were available".

Appt needed to be rescheduled because the office had an automatic system call a patient who is hard of hearing, nearly deaf, and required him to confirm appt. waste of time and energy for an 89 year old man.

Excellent. I saw Dr. Hey in 2008 for a procedure and again yesterday. He's friendly and knowledgeable and I felt such good rapport with him right away. He clearly put me at ease!! If any of my friends needed a pulmonologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Jamie Hey!! His practice group has an office closer, but I drive the extra miles and take the extra time to see Doctor Hey!

One of the best pulmonary doctors I've had. He's caring and extremely knowledgeable. His practice provides research opportunities to help improve clients health outcomes. I strongly recommend this doctor if you have a lung condition.
