Dr. Wentzel has cared for our entire family’s needs for over 20 years now and each of us have always come away knowing he gave us the best of his knowledge. He listens, he cares and he is medically aggressive in giving us the most professional care possible in every case. We are so grateful to have had Dr. Wentzel look after us and totally trust him for our care in the future.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Wenzel for years and been imploring me to go to him. I finally went and now see why. He reminds me of old school doctors that took time with their patients. He took time to hear all my concerns, he thoroughly reviewed my medical history and took time to talk with me and examine me. Then he called me personally the next day to review my labs. I honestly don't think I have ever had a doctor do that. I am glad I made the switch and look forward to seeing the dr on my next visit (hopefully for a well visit and not sickness, of course!).

Dr. Wenzel puts the care in healthcare! He is the best primary care physician I have ever had. I have entrusted him with the care of myself and my children for over 22 years and the care has been nothing less than exemplary ever single time. I am grateful to have such a caring physician to maintain the health of myself and my family.

Looks like I get to give Dr. Wenzel his first Yelp review and he gets to start off with 5-stars!I've been a patient of Dr. Wenzel for almost a decade now. Thankfully, I've only needed to see him for annual physicals. He is thorough, communicative and takes as much time as you need to discuss health issues and concerns. After my annual exams, he personally calls with the lab results and spends time discussing them.The staff is exceptionally friendly and I have no reservations recommending this practice to anyone looking for a family practitioner in Purcellville.

Dr. Wenzel is an excellent doctor. He is easygoing, knowledgeable, and shows genuine care for his patients. For me in particular, Dr. Wenzel has shown tremendous patience in working with me on some troubling symptoms. Even when we are well over our allotted office visit time, he takes the extra time needed to provide me reassurance. He also returns calls promptly and has gone out of his way to call me at the end of the day to answer questions. Highly recommended.

Dr. Wenzel is both my and my wife's family practitioner. We have been going to his practice in Purcellville for at least five or six years now. Appointments, even on the fly, have never been a problem. Calling into the office for advice or assistance of any kind have been answered or dealt with promptly and professionally. The office staff are likewise prompt and professional and easy to work with during every visit or telephone call. I never feel rushed like you get from some doctors who breeze in and out of a room and on to the next patient. I've sat and had real conversations with Dr. Wenzel and left feeling like I was able to ask all my medical questions but received sound medical advice, care and/or treatment. Besides that he has the rare gift for medical doctors - a pleasant bedside manner.

Dr. Wenzel is a very good Doctor, he is my husbans doctor and has been for years. But the new receptionist is rude, nasty and the most unpleasant person I have every had to talk to! I sure hope Dr. Wenzel doesnt lose business because of her, but I am sure he will
