List of Andrew J Harding Md's Reviews
Dr. Harding is the absolute best family doctor. I have been seeing him for a number of years. He is highly competent and never rushed. I trust him completely. There is nothing bad to say about him. Office hold times are the only area needing improvement.
I enjoyed the casual chat with the doctor, he is friendly. However, overall I felt this was a mediocre experience. He did not even ask why I was there, just a lot of assumptions. Additionally, he did not get consent or explain why he wanted to touch me, including a testicular exam. As a medical provider myself, I know this is more than common courtesy. There is a therapeutic alliance that should be intentionally cultivated. When I brought up my health concerns (when I could peel him away from the checklist of information he was racing through), he only cursorily acknowledged my concerns. I was unable to ask several questions, and when I did, he pivoted back to his own checklist. Then abruptly left the room without even so much as a chance to round off any questions/concerns. Ultimately, he just seemed rushed. Perhaps not a fault of his own but the system with which he functions. Imagine, 15' for a new eval appointment. Laughable. INOVA seems to have a solid automated screening process and has competent and friendly staff. If I had the sniffles or needed straightforward medical consultation, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. But for someone to really look at me holistically, dig into my long term health risks and help me manage screenings, I don't think this is the practitioner or practice given the business model.
My wife and I started seeing Dr. Harding in 2002 and he continues to be our family Dr. for our family of 4. We continue to be happy with his thorough and professional approach. The office staff are also professional and patient.
Came in for a prescription and Dr. Harding never checked my heart or anything other than having me look and follow a light. He discussed my medication and gave me hints (all of which I already knew). His documention of my visit said I was DISORIENTED of which I was not. He said it was a mistake, corrected it but never apologized for it. He then put an analysis of my heart and abdominal exam on my chart--he NEVER did any exam and feel he should have. He also made this correction without explanation or apology. UNPROFESSIONAL! What if I didn't look at my chart and other Doctors saw DISORIENTED as they always check the chart?
Great doctor. Very responsive and knowledgeable.
knowledgeable and courteous I have been with him for over 10 years in fact my whole family goes to him
Excellent and caring Family Health Doctor
Dr Harding is very warm and professional and spends the ideal time (I'm a physician myself) on patients education
Excellent Doctor
Dr. Harding has been my doctor for nearly 10 years. I have never felt so much confidence with my health than with him. His practice is the best and I recommend it to as many of my friends as possible. He takes the time to listen to me and my concerns, when I am sick, he makes sure the underlying condition gets treated, not only the symptoms. I can say I am not a very good business to his practice money wise, but I must say I am not responsible for it, because he keeps my healthy! :) Thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
