Bono (U2) wrote that Surgery is the Fountain of Youth; at my three-month post-spine surgery milestone, I now understand the meaning. Dr. Haines has, for all intents and purposes, given me my life back. The VSI team is second to none in their care and treatment for spine issues. I have suffered worsening back pain for over 15 years, and through Dr. Haine's care, I am thankfully now pain-free. Never pressured, always advised, and options presented - each step of my treatment has been thoughtfully explained. Even at the toughest stages of my treatment, I always felt he "had my back" (both metaphorically and literally!). Dr. Haines and his team demonstrably understand that treating spine issues extends beyond the mechanics of the spine but also to the mind and mental health of the patient. I would confidentially recommend both Dr. Haines and the VSI team for treatment.
