I have used medical and counseling services at many different centers over the years, but I have never encountered a place as efficient, active, and truly comprehensive in every aspect as Columbia Mental Health Therapists and Psychiatrists. This center is equipped with an excellent online assessment system that thoroughly evaluates each patient’s condition and carefully identifies their needs. With a highly capable and diverse team, it allows patients to make informed choices that truly fit their situation. For my mother, considering her age and specific needs, I was able to easily choose from this outstanding team a physician who is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate and kind. Dr. Yashar Fard connected with my mother with genuine warmth and respect, just like a caring son would. For the first time in her seventies, she completely trusted a doctor and followed his guidance step by step — and this was entirely due to his professional yet heartfelt approach. The office environment is beautiful, well-organized, and filled with positive energy, accompanied by calming music. The administrative staff are kind, supportive, and responsive. Altogether, these qualities make this center an exceptional place for specialized mental health care. My only regret is not having found this clinic — and especially Dr. Fard, whose role in this experience has been central — many years earlier. I truly believe my mother’s condition could have been much better today. I sincerely thank the management for assembling such an outstanding medical and administrative team, and I wholeheartedly recommend this center — particularly Dr. Fard — to anyone in need of mental health services in the challenging world we live in today.💐💐💐💐💐

To be belittled and dismissed by Columbia Mental Health and their doctors and nurses, refused what you yourself know has worked perfectly well for 30 years, you've sent them all of your records, and then told by them that every other doctor that you've ever had since 1976 was wrong, all by a 30-year old brand-new psychiatrist...I am a better psychiatrist than that. Here's The Deal: The Psychiatrists and Nurses at Columbia Mental Health are the bottom of the barrel leftovers that no one else will hire. It is a fast-food medical chain outfit run by investors: profit only. Garbage-In-Garbage-Out. For God's sake, if you need help, ask your general practitioner, really, personally, ask them first: they know every doctor who can actually help you or your child. Mental Health is you, and your brain. Don't let inexperienced psychiatrists experiment on you. They do that all the time: They are all still learning themselves. Chantilly, Virginia

Complicated scheduling system. Nobody answers phone, messages don’t get returned. Appointments get canceled without any notification. Location great but scheduling and support impossible.
