Very rude and unprofessional
Dr. Cho is very nice and caring. 7 years ago, I had a couple of ingrown toenails within a 7 month time frame. He removed both nails very carefully and professionally. He deserves a raise and we need more caring podiatrists like him.
I went to Dr. Cho with a badly imbedded splinter in my foot. He saw me within one day of my call, his front office staff was very efficient, I was called back ahead of my appointment time, I was seen very quickly, and most importantly, Dr. Cho was able to remove the splinter after a modest amount of time. His demeanor and approach were everything one would want in a physician. I completely recommend Dr. Cho. I went to Dr. Cho with a badly imbedded splinter in my foot. If I could give a negative star rating I would. Unfortunately, I was a patient of Dr. Man Cho. I went to him for an unstable ankle and he recommended foot surgery which I had. After going through 6 weeks of being off my feet then through physical therapy, I was hopeful that I was getting better, but realized that it was taking a lot longer. I then got pregnant during the physical therapy, so it was easy for him to blame my pregnancy and kept having me just follow up month after month. My foot was extremely swollen and in pain even 6 months after surgery. I was fed up with him having no answers except for telling my its probably just bc I'm pregnant, that I demanded he do an MRI and whatever tests necessary to see what is going on. He said that an MRI was no use but finally gave me the Rx. He then told me to go BACK into the post surgery boot to see if it helps?! I followed his instructions and did, and by the next morning I was in HORRIBLE PAIN, my ankle got even more swollen and completely locked up! I called his office after hours, and he called me back, I was screaming in pain telling him i couldn't even get my foot out of the boot! Ofcourse, he told me to just go to the ER. Remember, I'm like 6-7 months pg by now. ER contacted my OB who was yelling in disbelief how I was never told to get that foot UP with my hips up to get the swelling down. After pain meds and elevating my foot, it was actually a LOT less swollen.Putting my foot back into a post surgery boot when it NEEDED to move and heal properly made things WORSE. Long story short, I went to 2 other foot dr's who both looked at my MRI and BOTH said that he performed the surgery INCORRECTLY putting the screws in the wrong place and that I needed to do another surgery to correct and clean up his mess!!!! The dr I continued seeing immediately called him and questioned him on how he did it and how he never even did any tests..she literally told me he had nothing to say. She said in all her years, she had never seen a foot as bad as mine and that she was shocked he never did blood clot tests, MRI or any tests to see what was wrong especially when I KEPT complaining to him of pain. Because I was pregnant, my OB and the new wonderful foot dr I was seeing both recommended I take safe pain killers and cortisone shot to calm my pain down until delivery. As soon as I delivered and was clear for surgery 6 weeks later, I went in for the 2nd foot surgery. She confirmed that he indeed put the screw in the wrong place locking my ankle prohibiting it from moving correctly and healing. The screws were also bad and she had to do lots of clean up and packing my bones from the holes. I got arthritis because of it (I'm in my early 30's!). I had to go through the recovery all over again, but it was amazing how much of a difference it was the 2nd time around when it was done RIGHT! Unfortunately, my ankle will never be the same. I am better than I was after his initial surgery, but still have pain and my ankle is not as strong as it was initially (which wasn't much!). I now have arthritis and a hole where he incorrectly inserted the screw. That hole couldn't be packed now b/c then my ankle would be constricted again. For God's sake, both him and Dr. Masternick performed the surgery together and they couldn't get it right?! I am just baffled!! Don't make the same mistake I made. Do your research and see a well experienced, reputable reliable doctor. I don't want anyone else to go through the HELL I went through. If I could give a negative star rating I would. We're so thankful to Dr.Cho! He removed ingrown nail on my son's toes (on two different feet). Everything was done so accurate. Dr. Chow pays attention to his patients, answers all your medicine questions, and explains clearly everything you want to know about. He's very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Cho was recommended to me from a co-worker. I had bunion surgery on my foot two weeks ago and I am recovering well. Much less painful than I expected. Dr. Cho has excellent bedside manner and is very knowledgeable, professional, and takes time to review my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend this doctor to anyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
