Handful of providers are clinically strong. However, repeated billing discrepancies and unresponsive front office create ongoing stress. Patients relying on insurance coordination should be cautious. This office has consistently made billing errors, has incredibly poor responsiveness, is silo'd between departments, mishandles insurance claims and causes massive disruption and delays in continuity of care. If medication assistance is required and any kind of health insurance is used, would recommend finding another location.

My experience so far has been great! I appreciate that they provide a blanket and sweets to curb the gross after taste from the Spravato. Pradivha is super kind and respectful.

I have found this practice to be amazing! The office staff is polite and always helpful. I’ve had a seamless experience with appointments and billing. I have worked with Dr. Kathleen Martens for about 2 years. She is quite remarkable, with a kind and caring disposition. With comforting listening skills, she is able to give priceless insights. As well, she offers encouraging and practical approaches when working with her patients. Her instincts, education and experience in the field are of benefit to her patients. I feel incredibly blessed to have landed safely during my first experience with therapy. Also, I love the convenience of having virtual sessions.

I have been a patient of this practice for 3 years. The therapy I have received from Mrs Martens has allowed me to develop healthier coping strategies, build resilience and find meaning when my life seemed devoid of purpose. Dr Martens has patiently listened to me for countless hours, guiding me to start envisioning my future beyond the loss of my daughter. She has always provided a safe space for me to process my feelings. Beyond the quality of care, I also would like to point out the flexibility that they have granted me with appointments. The office has always been responsive and caring.

The level of care provided by Dr. Kathleen Martens and the customer service provided by the office staff is outstanding. Dr. Martens will quickly have you comfortable and confident that whatever you are dealing with can be reduced or eliminated in time. Dr. Martens will provide positive support and tools that will be helpful now and in the future. She truly cares for every patient and works hard to aid her patients thru their issue(s). I highly recommend My Psychiatrist and Dr. Kathleen Martins.

It can take a few tries to find the right fit with a therapist but I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Marten. She is very easy to talk to - a genuine and caring person. She isn’t at all judgmental but is simply a good listener who offers sound and practical advice. The MyPsychiatrist organization is very efficiently run as a whole with scheduling being a breeze and any questions being answered promptly. Wholly recommend!

I've worked with Kathleen for years and she is the best therapist I've ever had. She understands me and gets my humor while taking everything I go through seriously! She is awesome I luv her sm!!!!

My Psychiatrist, LLC has been a really positive experience for me. The providers are professional, compassionate, and truly take the time to listen without making you feel rushed. Scheduling with Pratibha has always been easy, and the overall process feels organized and respectful of your time. I’ve felt supported and understood, and the care has been thoughtful and individualized. I would absolutely recommend My Psychiatrist, LLC to anyone looking for quality mental health care in the Reston area.

This providers information was given to me by my insurance. I called to set up an appointment filled out all the forms and paid my copay. I had my first appointment 1/16/26 at 8am. I was seen by brian tran PMHNP. He is not a psychiatrist and not board certified (not PMHNP-BC) that i can see. The appointment was virtual. He was on time. No issues there. The appointment lasted the full hour. I was given a diagnosis and was told id be put on a medication. All is well there. I was told that id receive a call the next day 1/17/26 for a followup and that my prescription would be called in. I waited by the phone all day for a call that never came. I checked with my pharmacy, no prescription was called in. I CALLED THEM at 4pm, i explained to intake, that i had an appt and was told id get a followup call. That no one had called me. That id been waiting ALL day for this call and that id received no prescription. I was transferred, someone else asked me what was going on. I explained to him the same thing i said to intake. He then told me that brian had been meaning to call me and had not gotten around to it (i call BS, it was 4pm. Near end of business day) and that he wanted to schedule another followup for two weeks out with the same person (brian tran). I said NO, i want to work with someone else. If the experience i have had is any inclination of what i have to look forward to? No. Im not going to be chasing my dr around begging for information and trying to get prescriptions filled. I want a dr that does what they say theyre going to do and takes me/my mental health seriously. I AM NOT JUST A NUMBER IN A STACK OF PATIENTS. IM A HUMAN BEING! This man refused to set me up with an appointment with someone else. He kept trying to get me to talk to the same NP that literally blew me off. Finally, i got so frustrated, i told him cancel everything and that id go somewhere else. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THEY TREAT PATIENTS THIS WAY. clearly they just want to get you scheduled so they can bill you. They dont care about your diagnosis, making sure you get your meds in a timely manner.. NOTHING. i was treated poorly and i wont be giving them my business going forward. Be aware of what this place is and how it treated me, advocate for yourself and dont let these people push you around or gaslight you.
