List of Peter J. Bellafiore's Reviews
I've been going to Dr Peter Bellafiore for a while. He's just the greatest doctor. He's kind and understanding. I'm glad to have him as my doctor.
IDr.Bellafiore made me feel relaxed and not so nervous. I was worried enough just going to see a neurologist to find out what was wrong but he made me feel very comfortable. Very though in explaining the problem.
I called Dr. Bellafiore's office three times and left messages requesting an appointment. I never heard back from his office staff once. I wouldn't bother with this office.
Dr. Bellafiore is an outstanding Neurologist and human being!!!! He truly cares about all his patients!!!!
One of the most knowledgeable doctors in his field who continually attends learning opportunities and exudes commitment to his patients. Extremely professional and caring.
I deal with debilitating migraines. I am unable to work or function whatsoever. It has been a great strain on my marriage. I had an appt with him on the phone and told him I was trying to conceive but need to see an OBGYN because I have been unable to get pregnant. He told me there was no medication I could take. He asked what I took at home and I told him Tylenol and Benadryl. He told me Benadryl does nothing and laughed at me as if I was an idiot. Benadryl is what they give for migraines in the ER and it is the only thing that helps me at home. He also said I shouldn’t be taking it, but I’ve had plenty of Drs tell me it’s safe when trying to conceive. He told me I should just get pregnant because that might help my migraines. Given that I’ve been trying unsuccessfully for 7 years and have suffered miscarriages, it’s really offensive to be told to just get pregnant. I even told him I would put off trying for now, because I need some sort of relief and he refused to help me. It was all very upsetting and I felt a complete lack of compassion. Getting pregnant isn’t as easy as just deciding to. I’ve had a migraine every day since talking to him. And I feel like garbage because I’m in constant pain and the whole situation is worsening my depression and anxiety. So frustrated.
I went to see Dr. Bellafiore after a rear end car accident. He fit me into his schedule even though I'm sure he was a busy. I did appreciate that very much. I'm happy to have him as my doctor.
I went to Dr. Bellafiore after a rear end accident. He took me right away. I found him very pleasant and hope to continue seeing him as neurologists.
A severe head injury South County Hospital emergency room referred me to Dr. Bellafiore I called his Office the next day Monday August 5th to schedule an appointment. The answering machine says office hours are Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays I left a message Thursday August 8th I called back and left another message. Someone from his office called me back that afternoon and stated we received your message however we have no referral for you and we need your insurance information so you can even see you . The person informed me that I would need to go back to The emergency room and have them fax a referral and said my insurance information to his office . I explained that I had the discharge papers from the emergency and I have insurances and I can fax them to the office She stated it has come directly from the emergency room- It seemed as though she did not Care and came across very unprofessional. She informed me that it would be best for me to go somewhere else. Why does South county hospital refer patients to this doctor only because he’s the only neurologist they have I ended up going to Rhode Island Hospital and was referred and seen within 48 hours by a professional neurologist who had professional office staff.. I never got to meet Dr. Bellafiore because of his office staff. Just Another reason not to go to South County Hospital
Excellent Doctor, very good diagnostic technician & sensitive to the effectiveness and cost of recommend prescription drugs. Very good listener and helpful in defining problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
