Sandstone offers a lot for people struggling with the many vicissitudes of mental illness and life in general. The care is adaptive and very personal, while still being planned carefully in order to make it the most effective it can be. The counselors are all really nice and caring, as well. It's important to remember that you're not just another number, and that you deserve to feel better! I believe Sandstone can help you along that path.

Sandstone Reston really helped me process my mental health issues and substance use problems together when I needed help. The providers were excellent at their jobs and very understanding and helpful. The combination of group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, psychiatric help, and wellness education was well-balanced. I spent roughly 3 weeks in Sandstone’s Partial Hospitalization Program and roughly 2 months in the Intensive Outpatient Program. The only reason I have rated Sandstone 4 stars is that I wish there had been more time focused on therapeutic worksheets/activities in IOP. I definitely recommend Sandstone if you or a loved one are struggling with mental health disorder(s)/substance use simultaneously.

Sandstone was wonderful in helping our teen deal with her depression and anxiety, and taught her many new strategies to help her deal with these emotions and situations. The family group therapy sessions, as well as the 1:1s, were very helpful to our family. My daughter really liked her therapist and her 1:1 sessions. This in person therapy program was terrific for our family. Highly recommend!

Poor communication with parents No site visits Poor visibility on schedules and procedures Sales pitch exceeds the quality of care I don't think staff are well paid to handle such challenging job but I appreciate the ones doing their best to help the children. At the end of the day, these teenagers are still children who are confused and fighting for a place in a society full of wrong signals.

I have worked with Mary Worthy for a number of years. She has colloborated on numerous cases with me that eventually were served by Sandstpne and the treatment and services provided were excellent. I value the relationship that our organization has with Sandstone Care and with Mary Worthy.
