Robert A Shor Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Shor listens and always gives time and thought to his responses. He is very kind in his manner of speaking and explains things in a way that those without a medical degree can understand. My husband and I will miss him, but he has earned the opportunity to turn the page in his own life and embark on new plans.

It is always a pleasure to See Dr. SHOR. He is very thorough in his examination, questions and answers. He is expert in his field and I have a lot of respect for him. I have ben seeing him for about 10+ years and I am very satisfied with service he has provided. He told me that he is retiring soon, it was a shock to me. I wish him a happy retirement.

I've been seeing Dr. Shor for many years. I can't ask for better medical care. I feel very safe and comfortable having him manage my condition and trust him completely.

Saw Dr. Shor for a couple visits relating to a very low blood pressure which no one (not my GP or ID docs I saw) could tell me why it suddenly occurred. Really wanted him to prescribe some medication for it as it was debilitating and couldn’t stand or walk more than a few minutes at a time. He kept waiting and watching my symptoms and I ultimately ended up in the hospital a month later with septic shock. I feel so much better now that I’m on a medication to stabilize my blood pressure. I just wish that he’d have helped me more at the time to save me from being hospitalized.

5-Stars for Dr. Shor's competencies, class, listening, and true professionalism. He is part of a team of doctors, so one of them is on call 24 x 7 (I believe). I would love to give his office's nurses 10-Stars because you may call them during business hours (minus lunch time) and get answers to your questions. They are AWESOME ! The nurses also need to know how to reach Dr. Shor and will do so on your behalf, and call you with his reply. They are TRULY the best of the best !!!

Online experience was efficient, but no sub for face to face. Dr Shore is the best! Plenty of questions and a thorough review of my health history on file in the Reston Hospital data base

I have been to this office and Dr. Shor several times now. The care is extraordinary from him and his staff. I highly recommend.

Dr. Shor might be a good doctor, but given the abundance of good cardiologists in the Northern Virginia area, the trouble and hassle to get even a call back to make an appointment is not worth it. I called several times at the end of Nov. to make an appointment for my yearly check leaving my number for a call back, which never occurred. I finally just stayed on hold until someone finally answered. She told me the earliest with Dr. Shor, my doctor was in May of 2020, but that she would email someone to see if there was one sooner than that. Dec. 4th rolls around, no call back so again I start the process of calling, leaving my number for a call back that never occurs. Every day for five days, I called multiple times and left my number for a call back, that never occurred. Finally, again I stayed on hold for 20 minutes until someone answered. She told me that since there wasn't an earlier appointment, they didn't call me back. They didn't make the appointment in May at all for me, or even give me the option to, so now, it's two weeks later and I don't have an appointment for my yearly check and at this point two weeks later, the first available is somewhere in the summer. I called around to other cardiologists that were listed as Top Docs as well and got in for an appointment in 10 days. The employees in the office are horribly trained, or an efficient system has not been applied or just don't care to do their job well. Something wrong somewhere.

I've been seeing Dr. Shor for almost 4 years. I'm extremely pleased with the care that I'm receiving. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Shot is a caring and considerate physician and an extremely competent professional. I trust him and his staff -- with my care as well as my husband's care.
