My experience with Dr. Sima Shukla has been very positive. Appointments are easy to schedule and office staff is nice. Bringing in my 85 year old father always ends with good results, as Dr. Shukla takes her time to truly treat each of her patients. My father and I have put our health and trust in Dr. Shukla's hands.

Dr. Shukla is half out the door to retirement. My 79 yr old mother started seeing her about 18 mos ago & when my mom landed in hospital in Dec, and we could not get a call back in 4 days of trying! It was unbelievable she did not respond to one of her patients in a hospital. Overall the signs were there-Appointments are only 2 days a week, and we had numerous errors in information translations, info from labs .. initially thought it was my mothers memory failing but its Dr Shukla.

Dr Sima Shukla is an excellent Doctor, but her mannerisms need serious work. She does not call her patients back when needed. I have been of medicaine I take regular because she could not return my phone calls over 2 months. I was not sure if the medication keep me alive or not and could have passed away before she got back to me. My grand dust her then went to heroffice to find out about my medication and she was completely rude to her asking her "what do you want" instead "how can I help you". I understand that I am not an important person and maybe not athletic of her list, but I do not believe should and my grand daughter be disrespected for just asking a question. Like I said Sima is a great doctor, but I would not recommend her to anyone for her bad behavior.

I agree with the previous rater. She can't remember why she is seeing you and seems to be pre-occupied with something other than her patients. Always in a hurry to get you in and out. Plus wants you to make monthly appointments I feel are unwarranted.
