I have been seeing Dr. Swanson for about 6 years since I moved to VA. She is a very kind and patient listener. She always provided me very thorough exams and very thoughtful and practical advices with a comprehensive care. I am very grateful for her service and highly recommend her and her office to every female patient wishing to be heard before any rush diagnosis!

I would not recommend this office for anyone. First of all, they kept canceling my appointment 3 times because the provider was not available and on top of everything, they charged my insurance company for a visit that I never attended and excepted payment from my insurance company. The only reason I found out about all of this because I got a bill from my regular doctor that my insurance company won't pay for a "well Women's exam" twice in a year. I had to go through so much trouble calling my doctor's office and insurance company to resolve this matter. When I contacted Dr. Swanson office, the front desk lady was very rude and told me that office manager is not available and to come back the next day. I sent the office manager a email and left a voice message to her and I didn't hear back from them. This office is very unprofessional, I would not recommend them.

Dr. Swanson is so sweet and kind caring. She deserves more than 5 starts.Her calming personality helps me relax and trust her to deliver my baby. She goes the extra mile to help me out answering my questions. One of the best MD in the area.🙏 For her.

I found Dr Swanson to be kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. She explained Options that I needed to consider and she listened to me. She was very thorough. I will definitely go back to her.

We have top of the line BCBS insurance and their office staff could not for the life of them figure out how to handle basic prescriptions. It caused serious delays on getting basic birth control. If you actually want to be treated, find another doctor. FYI -- a week later. No call back. No contact. No ownership. Head in the sand. These guys do not know what they are doing.

I did not find Dr. Swanson helpful. She did do a diagsnostic laparoscopy which found endometriosis but when the pain wasn’t fixed after that she referred me to Dr. Delgado who was 10x worse and didn’t help my pain at all. She wasn’t harmful per se, but wasn’t helpful either and she also always acts like she’s really tired or drugged or something?? It’s weird. Don’t waste your time with anyone in this office. I went to Northern Va Physicians to Women and they fixed my pain completely in less than a month and provide excellent obgyn care in general also.

Dr. Swanson has been a pleasure to have as my Doctor. This is my third pregnancy and a 9 year gap since my last pregnancy..... she has been super sweet and informative. She is always on time and the staff is extremely professional along with being sweet during each visit I have had. The office is spacious and very clean exam rooms. They make you feel welcome and cared for, I have never felt rushed through an appointment.

Dr. Swanson and the entire staff at Virginia Women's Health Associates have been extremely helpful to me with a variety of health-related matters. Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appointment within a few days of calling and receive a response to my phone questions often the same day. Dr. Swanson is approachable, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, calm, and very caring. She answered all of my questions, especially during my pregnancy and in labor and delivery.

Absolutely amazing doctor. Had a newly discovered health problem that had the potential to impact my ability to have children. Dr Swanson really took the time to explain all of the different options available, the pros and cons of each, and then we came up with a treatment plan together. Highly recommend!
