Great experience with him and his team .Definitely is Recommended.
Don't bother trying to call this office. Was referred to this practice, in particular Dr. Chung when I was in the ER yesterday. Called 3 hrs ago but no one answers and all u can do is leave a message. I need to make an appt so called just now (again) 3 hrs later and again routed to voicemail. No thanks. Will find another Rheumatoligist where someone answers the phone so u can make an appt.
I have been a patient of Dr. Chung for several years. He is a great doctor. He is very patient and explains everything and all options available. He listens to my concerns and answers all of my questions. The staff is wonderful as well.
If I could give negative stars I would. This guy, who doesn’t deserve to be called a doctor has the worst bedside manner in the world. He told me after 6 years of being treated for Lupus by a Texas doctor who sits on the board of lupus research in Austin, Dr Samuel Pegram (BEST DAMN LUPUS DOC IN THE WORLD!) … that I never had Lupus or any other diagnosis and he will not prescribe me Hydroxychloroquine(that I’ve been taking for 6 years or give me a benlysta infusion, he’s not giving me lyrica for my fibromyalgia that he says I have but doesn’t think I should take more than extra strength Tylenol 😂 please someone take his license and tell the Army they medically retired me at 100% prematurely! lol
Awful bedside manner. I would not recommend him. Quack
Dr. Chung was patient with me and asked a lot of questions to help with the diagnosis. He explained every step of the procedure which was very helpful. I had a very successful outcome and would highly recommend Dr. Chung.
Saw Dr. Chung for possible autoimmune testing. He incorrectly told me that I have multiple myeloma. The testing was inconclusive and I hadn't had the bone marrow biopsy yet to confirm. This isn't even his area of expertise but he felt it necessary to misdiagnose it. Needless to say I was devastated thinking I had this terrible disease for a couple weeks until the biopsy proved I didn't. Really disappointed and unprofessional to tell a patient that they have something without confirmation. Terrible experience!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Chung now for two years. He has really helped me take a proactive approach to treating and overcoming my arthritis (gout). The staff is very easy to work with and professional. Thank you Dr. Chung and team for your service!!!
Dr. Chung saved my mother-in-law from excruciating pain. She was visiting from Korea and came down with debilitating pain that we suspected was RA. She had never had this type of pain before and has never been diagnosed with RA before. Some past and current symptoms lead us to suspect RA. She went to a family medicine practice and they prescribed pain killers to control the pain until she returned home for a complete work up, but a few days into taking the prescribed meds, they stopped working. We received Dr. Chung's information from the family med practice and called and received an appointment the same day. They did a complete work up, including radiographs and blood work. Dr. Chung was very honest in informing us that he couldn't prescribe any meds until he got the results of the blood work and radiographs. We inquired if she should continue taking the pain meds and he said that if is helping with the pain continue, but if not then there was no need. As a person who is in healthcare, I completely appreciate his philosophy of not prescribing medication without a full diagnosis. She went in to see him on a Tuesday and by Thursday the same week, he brought her in to discuss all of his findings and prescribed her steroids and RA meds that brought her immediate relief by the next day. Dr. Chung has great bed side manners and took the time to discuss all aspects of her diagnosis, side effects of the medications, and other follow up that is needed with a cardiologist and pulmonologist. Thank you Dr. Chung and team for helping my mother-in-law and our family. I will definitely recommend his practice in the future.
Overall horrible bedside manner. Receptionist and doctor both condescending. Receptionist does not pick up when you call and you have to leave a message. Usually takes a full business day/two for him to call you back. At the beginning of COVID, appointments were via Zoom. Our mother was struggling with the app and the doctor was clearly getting aggitated and frustrated. Our mother has been going to this doctor for years and he's always been very curt. Recently she went to get a shot and had a bad reaction and subsequently taken to the ER. After she was released she called the doctor because she was still having some residual side effects. The receptionist basically said after she got released from the ER their responsibility ends there. The proof is in the pudding...All the prior negative reviews align to my mother's experience. If anything, patients deserve better and everyone can do better than to see this doctor and the staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
