Tarek Abou Ghazala Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ghazala is A very professional doctor and teacher who helped me to stabilize my heart condition. He spent the right amount of time listening to my concerns and answering my questions. Dr. Ghazala and his team are consistent with following up on their patients during regular and emergency situations. I had multiple emergency situations and the doctor contacted me multiple times to follow up on my case.

Not only does Dr. Ghazala take great care of my heart, he looks after my wallet as well. As we were talking about my medications, I told him how I was shocked by the cost of the previous medications. He quickly whipped out his iPad and told me I should use another pharmacy and gave me the name and saved me $88 dollars on just one medication and I will now save that 4-times a year. I did the same thing for my other medication and that saved me $45. In total, I will now save over $500 / year thanks to him!

This is a 1 star practice. The doctor is very unresponsive and the VA medical board should be made aware. The receptionist are absolutely unprofessional, they do NOT pay attention to the patiences needs or detail for that matter. Save your time and energy. If you have really good insurance they will ask you to conduct all these tests for no reason or justification. $$. He will say I need to rule out blah blah blah #beware

I have been coping with unexplained Hypertension for over two years. Dr. Ghazala, and his amazing support staff, were able to analyze me, diagnose me, and provide me with the peace of mind I needed to work through it with confidence. Heart's just fine after all. The doctor himself is particularly good on the job; he listens to what you have to say and doesn't disregard a thing. But that doesn't mean he'll mollycoddle you either. He is very specific about what is good for you and what isn't, and will efficiently give you the facts you need. I couldn't have asked for a better cardiologist.

Dr. Ghazala is an excellent practitioner. He saved my mom's life about almost two months ago. I am giving one star to the receptionists and medical staff(4 people glued to their chairs at the front desk). I was waiting more than two hours and placed in two different rooms. After an hour waiting in the triaj room, my mom needed to get out ,and then one of the front desk person moved us into another room where we were waited another hour. None of them knocked on the door to give us an update about the waiting time, or to apologize for the long delay. .Dr Ghazala didn't even know that we(myself and my 83 year old mom)were waiting on him.He saw us because I opened the door to leave,, and that's when I saw him in his office. Dr Ghazala came straight to us asking who are we waiting for, than he went right away to ask his front desk team why they are rooming patients and he is not informed. Very unprofessional staff that delivered very poorly to us on a non busy day.I hope that the office manager will have a serious chat with the personnel, and make some changes.

Dr Abou-Ghazala is an excellent cardiologist. He is very knowledge and has provided us the best care possible. His office staff are also excellent.

This Guy is only interested in your money never liked to listen patient concerns. Shake his head as if he is listening, but never pay attention to you, or your concern I was surprised to see all these so called reviews, bogus I will not trust not even one. Of course the office staff are good people.

Dr Ghazala is a good listener, and he will do his best to make sure you get the help you need even if it means referring you a different cardiologist who is more experienced in cases like yours. Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Tarek Abou Ghazala is a great doctor. He is the best. He made my Mother feel safe and treat by a trusted Family member. People at the office are very nice, kind, caring and smiling which provide good atmosphere for the patients. My mother does not trust or listen to any advice except what Dr. Abou Ghazala recommends. He is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I was very impressed with the time, care and treatment he provided to my mother. My mother owes her life to Dr. Abou Ghazala, she might not be alive if he did not convince her to go to the hospital and follow his diagnosis and recommended the treatment.
