Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Young D Park's Reviews
While the staff and office are awesome about meeting both of my elderly parents’ medical needs, neither are provided with any after visit notes - explaining tests, results, plans, changes in medication, etc. The online platform is a poor one (Athena Health) but other doctors who use it in the area do post their notes. Other doctors provide an after visit note in person and online with what issue was discussed, what meds should change and any next steps. This is particularly needed for patients in their 80s.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Park for over 20 years. He’s always kind, caring, knowledgeable, patient, and he listens. There are very few doctors out there today like Dr. Park. I’m grateful to have him as my cardiologist. You will not find better.
Dr Park is simply the best. He pays attention to detail. I am very pleased with his services. He goes way beyond what we have come to expect from our medical services in this day and age.
Dr. Park took care of my father and now he takes care of me...love him!!! He is the most caring individual.......his knowledge astounds me........I highly recommend him to EVERYONE!!!!!
Dr. Park is the most knowledgeable and caring physician I have encountered in my 78 years. I have complete confidence in his direction of my health care and recommend without reservation.
Having met Dr. Park after my first double bypass at Fairfax Hospital, I knew that I wanted him to be my primary cardiologist. He is knowledge, takes his time explaining all the medical jargon and I trust him implicitly . When we realized my first bypass was not what it should have been, he contacted Washington Hospital Center and referred me to an outstanding vascular surgeon for a redo of the first surgery. I cannot five stars is not a high enough rating - I would give him 10 stars!!!!
Dr. Park's medical support has been excellent in all respects, including details of any medical conditions or concerns, courtesy, professional behavior and pro-active preventative medical recommendations.
I had to sit for almost an hour in the waiting room while the staff determined how best to deny me the ability to be treated by this doctor, who I have met before including during my recent hospital stays - He's perfectly well aware of my financial challenges but his staff evidently doesn't care; so in addition to not being treated for my congestive heart failure I got to waste my time in order to be humiliated. Thanks a lot, Dr. Park and staff.
Dr. Park is rude and arrogant. I would suggest anyone with heart concerns would seek another opinion.
I enjoy Dr. Park and find him very friendly and not too rushed. The main issue is: Follow up is so important but I think if you never called him again he would never call you again--not to check on your medicines, side effects, condition or schedule a check up. I think a doctor should take the lead in these important things by urging the patient to come back for regular follow ups, question how he is doing on the medicine, explore possible side effects the patient doesn't know, see if adjustments are needed, etc. I also wish he would take the lead in helping coordinate with other doctors treating the same patient regarding medicine and medical issues since it doesn't make sense to treat a condition in a vacuum without considering other conditions and medicine that may play into it.These things are very important to me but I don't think most doctors are great at doing it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
