Doctor phieffer she does a great job , Felicia and the whole office is great they really took care of me and my issues!!

After dealing with many dermatologists in the Richmond VA area, desperately seeking help to cure acne on my face, neck and chest with no success, I found Dr. Laura Pfieffer who in just one month completely cleared it up. I have been a patient at Avenue Dermatology for 5 years and my skin does not have a sign that I had acne and it has never reappeared. I have no words to thank Dr. Pfieffer for my beautiful skin that I now have thanks to her help.

I am so glad that I found Dr. Pfieffer at Avenues Dermatology. I have a recurring skin issue (hidradenitis) since I was a preteen that would keep coming back even after seeing multiple doctors over the years; they would treat it superficially and in some cases weren't really educated on how to treat it properly. Dr. Pfieffer immediately understood the issue and gave me a detailed regimen with medications, supplements and cleansers to make sure the problem was being treated at it's source and managed well if I did occur again. I have had the longest time period without the issue occurring and it has done wonders for my confidence. Bittersweet that it took me so long to find a doctor like her, but so glad that I did!

Dr. Laura Phieffer has been amazing in my journey to helping my skin condition. She has helped me to be able to move better and have a relief. She is willing to work with you for a long time. The staff are very kind and helpful. They work together as a team. Highly recommend.

Laura Phieffer has been my dermatologist for over 20 years and she has helped me immensely. The things were not going well with my skin she got me back to being proud of what I looked like. I would like to take her home with me. She's a great doctor.

I have been going here for a few years now and everyone that works here is amazing. Dr. Phieffer gave me a regimen that has made my skin look better than it's ever been in the last 10+ years. Her assistant, Felicia, is so kind and thorough. I highly recommend this dermatology practice!

Felicia is amazing as the first interaction before seeing the doctor. She is thorough and takes her time to listen to your needs and concerns. Dr. Phieffer is very knowledgeable and has helped cure my cystic acne after 22 years. She didn’t require me to try a million things knowing my history. It’s the best dermatologist in Richmond and I travel almost 2 hours to see her! Their prescriptions are through Henrico Pharmacy which is unusual but they ship for free. The products they prescribe can be a bit expensive even with insurance but I have everything I need and they work flawlessly for my skin!

I had a terrible rash on my Scalp. It was extremely uncomfortable and very unsightly. Whenever I went to dinner with friends or got a haircut it was embarrassing. Dr. Shannon Chase saw what my problem was and immediately took steps to address my problem and within a few weeks she cured my problem and it feels and looks so much better. I would recommend her to anyone that is having annoying skin problems. SHE IS GREAT!!!!

Avenues is the best dermatology practice I have been to thus far. The staff are thorough and efficient. Dr. Phieffer, Shannon, and Courtney are all effective in treating any kind of skin issue!
