Unprofessional staff wasted money with them for over 3 years with no results. Do not recommend this practice!

I made an appointment for an ongoing issue with my itchy scalp that I’ve been been dealing with for many, many years. I’ve also seen a few dermatologists over the years and not one of them ever had the solution to ease this condition. After just “one” visit and the treatment Dr. Love prescribed for me has helped me tremendously after using it for a week!!! She was extremely thorough, professional, friendly and definitely knows her stuff!!!! I’ve only had two visits so far and after I left her office both times there were absolutely no questions left unanswered. I gave her 5 stars and if possible would give more. She is hands down the VERY BEST dermatology I’ve ever encountered!!!

Dr. Royal is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly warm, takes her time with you and provides amazing recommendations. She prescribed a cream for hyperpigmentation that I've had for years that has worked so well. It's clear that she truly cares about her patients and practice. I highly recommend her if you're looking for an amazing dermatologist in RVA!

I had a great experience with Dr. Love. This office was the only one without a 3 month wait. I was worried about skin cancer and they booked me a new patient appointment 3 days later. Dr. Love and staff were helpful, extremely efficient and friendly. I am glad to have found their practice.

My very young daughter had her first appointment with Dr. Love. We had the best experience from the welcoming staff, short wait time (arrived 10 min prior to the appointment since it was our first time and was seen ON TIME!), to the knowledge of Dr. Love. She explained everything and answered all of my questions. Thank you so much, can't wait to see how my daughter's skin improves!

If you are looking for a doctor with bedside matters; keep moving this doctor has none.

I have been going to Dr. Royal for over 5 years now. She is such a great doctor and is really knowledgeable. She has treated me for skin cancer . I definitely trust her with such a serious issue. She is the best!

rushed , not familiar with my skin condition but instead of being honest prescribed a bunch of steroids and revisits that obviously were just to make money , also cut a sample off my foot and billed me for s surgery and very expensive copay which included labwork then sent me a bill a year later , terrible !!

I usually don’t write reviews for business, it’s just never been my thing, but after my 4th visit with Dr. royal today and saw the negative reviews I had to speak up!Dr. royal’s practice is phenomenal! I moved to Richmond back in 2019 and needed to find a new dermatologist. I heard about her practice from word-of-mouth when a coworker recommended her. I expected to be seen with 4-5 months later which wasn’t the case. My appointment was made within weeks of my call, & honestly I had no issues w/ any of her staff.They greeted me as I walked in, checked me in, and within minutes I was in a room waiting to be seen. The nurse came in and asked what was the reason for my visit, She took some notes down on her computer, and 5-6 minutes later another doctor a younger lady (Who I’m assuming was completing her residency) came in to examine and advise that Dr. Royal will be in shortly.Dr. royal came in an examine all of my concerns, diagnosed me, and prescribed me the recommended medications. Form their we had a brief five minute conversation about me moving to Richmond and living in the city. And she went on her way! I personally do not nor never will want to have a full blown 20 minute conversation with my dermatologist, I just wanted to be in and out... she was very well educated and knowledgeable and I knew for a fact her & her staff knew what they were talking about.Since that first visit I have been back multiple time for follow ups and new concerns and each time my experience has been amazing! I’ve even recommended two other coworkers to visit her office! Definitely giving them 5 stars ⭐️

Love this place!!! Dr. Royal is top notch!! She’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and respectful! I could go on and on!!! She took one look at my scalp and skin and diagnosed my condition. I had several moles removed and she took so much care and concern and helped me get off the table, after the procedure! She gave me a mini back rub!!! I’m grateful to God that I found her!!! I knew she was special when she greeted us at the door and took our temperature! The staff was very kind also! Great experience!!!
