Reviewed 09/27/2020. One star. This is the worst methadone clinic in the Richmond area! The clinic is now owned by Pinnacle, not the company who operated it for over a decade up to this year. The first thing I noticed that seemed odd was the extremely long wait times between checking in and actually getting dosed. Expect to spend at least 30 minutes at the clinic from the time you park until you’re getting back in the car to leave. A lot of ppl will get there before the clinic opens so they can establish their place in line, which causes a line to form before the door is even unlocked. Not good if you’re just getting there early trying to make it to work on time. No, those hours aren’t a typo, and your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. This clinic is open for one hour on Sunday. One hour, and one dosing window. Wait times of 60 minutes or more are common on Sunday. They use an app - Engage - for patients to check-in for dosing. This is designed to eliminate waiting in line at a window to check-in. I have regularly had to go to the window anyway due to the app being so buggy, and I’ve heard complaints from others about the same issue. The app could also be utilized to notify patients of changes in policy, instead of using the word-of-mouth approach that they choose which causes patients to miss hearing the information. One weekend, several patients were denied their medicine when a new policy was implemented prohibiting ppl from waiting outside of the building prior to dosing. At closing time, there are usually several ppl outside waiting bc there’s a wait time of more than a few minutes. The staff abruptly decided to tell patients to be inside the building at close of dosing hours. Some patients weren’t at the door when the announcement was made and were locked out and denied their dose that day. To me, that’s not how staff should have made patients aware of new policy, especially a policy which forces ppl to crowd into one room together, making social distancing impossible! The number of patients is high enough that it took FCCR almost 2 weeks to assign me a counselor when I started, so until they assigned me, I had to ask other patients whenever I needed to know something. They seemed to know more about the clinic’s operating procedures than the nurse or the secretary at the front desk. I will update this review as I gain more experience interacting with staff at FCCR Southlake. I’ve already put in to transfer, but ppl have to be a patient for 30 days before being eligible for a transfer. I hope that my experience gets better and I am able to say at least one positive thing...

Ever since Pinnacle took over its extremely unorganized and dysfunctional. Extremely long wait times so if you have to work in the morning you might as well quit before u get fired for being late. It doesn't matter what time you come you will have to wait ..it is hard to see the doctor who's only there twice a week..its even harder to get take homes to do anything!

It would of been 4 years for me in this upcoming Sept 2019! I have never failed a drug TEST or any type of drama!!!! Ever since the name changed the staff changed .. I wemt threw many counselors never had any of my questions answered or helpped with ANYTHING! I WAS KICKED OUT DUE TO FALSE MESSAGES TO SOMEONE... SAYING ID FIGHT KNOWING THAT I NEVER DIS THAT... THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND I AM HAPPY THAT I DID RELOCATE TO A PLACE THAT LISTENS AND Y UNDERSTANDS! EVERYONE BRINGS IN OTHER PEOPLES PEE THEY GET TAKE HOMES QHEN THE ABUSE ITS SAD ... I MISS THE OLD PEOPLE THAT RAN IT THEY ACTUALLY CARED WHAT A DISASTER THIS PLACE HAS BECOME!!$

This was a good place until the new company took over and changed the policy’s instead of trying to help people there only interest is money

I finally have my life back! I would strongly encourage anyone with drug or alcohol addiction to attend the Intensive Outpatient Program at FCCR. The staff is very talented, non-judgmental and really do care. I cant thank them enough!

I would have to say that the staff here is really caring and do their best to help you in any situation that may arise in your life. And they do accept medicaid insurance. I pay nothing at all with my insurance.

If you have any adhd issues as well, you might as well forget coming here, they will not and do not tolerate any other medicine that is, in their word still an addictive substance. I have been in adderall for 20 years, and that is most certainly not my issue with drugs. They not only informed me they would not tolerate it, but also gave me a whole 5 days to transfer to another clinic or they would force taper down, and I mean quickly that would honvestly lead to a major relapse. I’ve been clean for almost a year from opiates. You would figurevthey would be a little more concerned on that part of my major addiction..but, apparently their policy is more important than my life, job , kids, family, and my well being..I give this place a D-, at best, and have been to three different clinics. Also, most there are extremely rude in how they deal w different cercumstances. I’d rather be an addict than have to be babysitter. No thanks, stay away!!!!!!!
