I had been looking for a functional/integrative practice since moving to the area and I'm so happy to have found InHealth RVA. Tresa, Lindsay, Lydia and their support team provide outstanding patient-centered approach. They listen to your concerns, provide a deep dive into the root cause and design an action plan. You actually take part in YOUR healthcare!
Highly recommend Tressa and InHealthRVA! Tressa truly cares about her patients and their holistic well-being. Thank you!!
So far, I have had two appointments with Tressa Breindel at Inhealth RVA. I have thought about seeing a functional medicine doctor for a while, after growing increasingly irritated with the lack of thoroughness I've experienced with regular, primary care physicians. I have had hormonal issues since giving birth 2.5 years ago and I am more than ready to connect the dots, so I did some research and found Tressa. They offer a free 15 minute consultation and I instantly knew I wanted to work with her after we talked. It was basically a call for me to give her a brief overview of my health history and what my current concerns were. She was an amazing listener and thought that she could help me, so I booked a full blown appointment with her. The intake appointment was last week and it was an amazing two full hours of her answering all my questions and listening to my full health history + family history. I have never felt like someone was so invested in my health as I did during that virtual call. You cannot even begin to compare this experience to a "regular" appointment at a doctor's office. We talked for about an hour and a half, and then she wrote up a treatment plan and we came back together to discuss the next steps. I am very happy with my treatment plan and cannot wait to see what all of the thorough testing reveals. The only frustrating thing about pursuing naturopathic/integrative medicine is that it is not covered under insurance plans. I am happy to pay out of pocket for this service, however I am going to have to space some of the steps out a bit so that they fit within my budget. I know that once I invest in this initial testing and the time it takes to get to the root cause of my health concerns, I will benefit greatly in the long run. I am so thankful for Tressa and can't wait to see how this journey proceeds.
Tressa Breindel is incredible at what she does. She helped me overcome some major hurdles and come out on the other side healthier than I ever was before. HIGHLY recommend working with here whether you live in Richmond ... or anywhere. ....
InHealthRVA is superb. They are efficient and professional in all their dealings with a patient. Tressa is very thorough and knowledgeable. She takes as much time as needed to develop a complete history and develop an effective, comprehensive treatment plan. I highly recommend her and have done so with friends and family.
Tressa and her team provide the best care available to the Richmond area. They are smart, caring and have all the tools to help anyone struggling with complex health issues. You will only benefit from bringing them on board for your care.
Tressa Breindel is absolutely fabulous! Her skill and knowledge of acupuncture, cupping, and digestive health has helped my husband manage a chronic illness. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with pain management and chronic illness symptoms.
Andy is the bomb of physical therapy. I knew I had some muscular asymmetry, but never knew what it was or that it could be fixed. Andy saw it in a workshop we both attended. Fixed it, which I think has allowed me to train and run with minimal effort, and without injury. I went from a non-runner, to marathon finisher. Thanks Andy! (Though I am still it sure I love running....)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
