Lauren G. Lucas's Online Review Report Card

After several visits now I feel confident in making a favorable recommendation for Dr Lucas. I found the staff friendly and the Dr knowledgeable regarding my concerns. My updated eyeglass PX was right on target (helped me pass my DMV eye exam).

Received wrong prescription twice. Went elsewhere to revive accurate prescription. Left bad review on office facebook page, an employee (front desk staff) used her personal social media (facebook) account to comment on my review, claiming the wrong prescription was my fault. Employee since deleted comment but proceeded to attempt to send me a facebook message. Severe violation of patient/provider relationship to contact a client via personal social media. Bizarre, unprofessional, upsetting.

Staff is disrespectful and unprofessional. Take your business else where!

Loved the office, doctor and staff. My glasses prescription and frames were perfect. My contacts were almost perfect. I was hesitant to call to double check my contacts, but the receptionist made me feel like they really wanted to get everything right for me. I'm so glad I called and went back for a follow up. Dr. Lucas took her time trying on different lenses really letting me figure out what brand and numbers I preferred. Now I love my contacts too! I'll never go to any other office!

Love, love, LOVE this office. Whenever I'm in a pinch and forget to order contacts they always make it so easy for me to swing by and get an extra sample set. I've never had any issues with the docs or staff. They even send my dilated exam notes to my endo doc whenever I visit. Dr. Lucas has won me over, but I'll always thank Dr Weingart for helping me through the denial that goes along with needing glasses and contacts.

I didn't realize how badly she had fitted me for contacts until I went to another doctor. The contacts she insisted I get did nothing to address my vocalized concerns about my eyes drying out, my worsening night vision and my worsening reading vision. After my 2nd annual visit, I mistaking resigned myself to the fact, that there were not contacts available that fully corrected all my eye problems. I also felt like my questions inconvenienced her on a day she was already running very behind.

I have loved seeing Dr. Gary Weingart. Recently I had a problem with my left eye and Dr. Lauren Lucas was the doctor that was in that day. She really went through my entire history and I felt like she knew me just like Gary. I was hesitant when Gary said he was retiring last year... but I am so very pleased that he/ForEyes chose someone as knowledgeable as Dr. Lucas. My family, co-workers, and myself have been seen at this office for 25+years and we will continue our annual visits here.

Although doctor are very profession and knowledgeable but paper work are EXTREMELY slow, it's over two week since our last appointment and pharmacy are still waiting for doctor's approval letter to fill in prescription. So is contact lenses company and insurance company all feedback to me that they can't get hold of the doctor.
