List of MIchael Blumberg's Reviews
He is the most brilliant we have on the east coast and should be in Fauci place hands down. I trust very few and he is one at the top of the list!!
Dr. Blumberg is the best in this facility, he is my doctor. The thing that upsets me is the front desk workers. They are not cooperating with patients. I called today to get a refill for my asthma medication that I have been taking for years and this weird lady at the front desk said that the order of my medicine got denied because I have to take an appointment first. She said that I have to make a yearly visit. I said this is fine to me I can make an appointment but this is my Asthma medicine that I literally can’t live without. She seemed that she doesn’t care, she repeated that I have to have an appointment which is I am fine with, but at the same time I need my medicine. However, I have been a patient at this office for years. They know me but the front desk workers are not sufficiently helpful at all. I was expecting them to say that “we can refill it this time and this is a note for you that you have to take the appointment and we can’t refill it anymore for you“ it would be better. I have not gotten any notes that say that My visit is overdue. They never notified me. They are not nice at all. Dr. Blumberg’s nurse called me and she defended herself that can’t make the refill because it is against the law. Well, what about not telling your patients that their visits are overdue and surprisingly let them know that they can’t refill their Asthma medicine. I like my doctor Blumberg and respect him but I have to find another place that the nurse and the staff are nice and kind to their patients, and keep them posted and updated with their medical situations . I am their patient and this should not happened to me. The front desk ladies made a story from their mind that they notified me to take an appointment before and THIS NEVER HAPPENED, I go a lot to take my allergy shot and I did not either get any emails saying that my visit with my allergist is overdue. I am so extremely mad and I care about my life. It is ridiculous over all.
Dr. Blumberg and staff are fantastic!!! The office is very nice, and everyone does a good job of making the patient feel safe and comfortable, especially when they are having a difficult time. Dr. Blumberg is very intelligent, dedicated to his profession, and has an excellent personality. He takes the time to educate his patients and make sure they understand everything through explanations and asking and answering questions. He is very thorough and has helped me tremendously. Thank you so much for all you do!!!!
He is an awesome Doctor and right on top of my allergies.
Dr Blumberg asked several questions about the history of my condition, took notes, and was very engaged in understanding and explaining my condition. To the reviewer who said “he has no bedside manner with children” - I can’t speak to that, but to anyone trying to understand and treat a difficult allergy/skin condition I would highly recommend him for his expertise.
This man is saving my life-God bless you Dr blumberg
I saw Dr. Blumberg for 25 years until I relocated and would recommend him highly to anyone with serious asthma and allergies. He's extremely knowledgeable and my condition improved 200% under his care while watching meds closely and in many cases, cutting them. Thank Doctor!P.S. I miss you!
Fortunately I found Dr Blumberg after I moved here to care for my Mom and my childhood asthma returned. He, and his staff, are so gracious and caring. His care is why I could care for my Mom and remain healthy.
I met Dr. Blumberg over 30 years ago when my toddler was sick with asthma and very few doctors knew how to treat it!!! He has successfully treated my daughter who is now 33 years old, myself, my mother, my other children with allergies and now my grandchildren. Dr. B is an awesome doctor but the most unique thing about him is that he educates his patients on "asthma and allergies" and he teaches you how to take care of yourself. This might not be to good for business because when I first started going to him for severe asthma, I had to see him 15-20 times a year! Now I only see him once a year because he has taught me how to look out for signs and triggers and what to do when they occur. I don't want him to ever retire .... but I know that is a selfish thought!!! He's just so awesome. My prayers is that God will always show him favor.... for his kind and wonderful heart! We love you Dr. B!!!
I didn't care for Dr. Blumberg -- or his office -- one bit. My pediatrician recommended the office, unfortunately. He had a terrible bedside manner and didn't know how to interact with children. We waited for an extended period of time in the lobby for our initial appointment/consultation. The initial nurse entered the room and asked if I knew my infants height/weight. I explained he'd been measured a few months ago. She huffed and puffed and said he'd probably changed a lot in a few months (he hadn't). Once Dr. Blumberg entered the room, he was condescending and pretentious. I'm not sure if he was trying to make jokes -- but they weren't funny. In fact, one of the comments frightened my three year old (it was about him being trapped in the office and never being able to leave). My son stuck his lower lip out in terror until I interjected and told him I'd always come save him. The nurse who did the actual testing was the saving grace -- thank goodness for her. When Dr. Blumberg came back in to read the results and tell us that our son didn't have any food allergies he concluded by looking at the nurse and snottily saying, "can I leave now?". Overall a very bad taste was left in my mouth.Due to the lack of a reaction, they sent me to Labcorp to have my 13 month old get blood drawn. Based on those results, they are having me take him for a Food Challenge. I chose to have the third round of testing (Food Challege) done at a new doctors office. I'd rather pay another two or three specialist copays than spend four hours in that dark, dirty office, with a mean doctor. The new doctor's office had a heck of a time getting his medical records sent over -- GO FIGURE!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
