Nice, personable, friendly during visit. Doesn't make you feel rushed. But, he knows nothing about prescription drugs or he just doesn't know what to do with a patient that doesn't fall into his normal realm. I am allergic to all anti-inflammatory drugs. The only anti-inflammatory drug I can take is prednisone. He wouldn't prescribe more than 6 days of it even after I told him I had taken it for a 4-6 weeks after neck surgery. A 6 day pack is what they give me for poison ivy, it's not going to do much for shoulder inflammation. I'm extremely claustrophobic. He wants me to do an MRI. I say I have to have something strong to get even an open one or be knocked out for a closed one. Twice he didn't give me enough drugs and sent me to a closed MRI first. He referred me to my PCP to get more drugs for the 3rd attempt, which I canceled. The pain wasn't worth the anxiety anymore. I would never let him operate on me. I'd be afraid he wouldn't give me enough pain meds after surgery.

For me, Dr William Beach, MD treated me courteously & answered all my questions. Of course I had to wait, that’s normal when you visit a healthcare professional. That’s the reality of it. I just would like civil behavior from a healthcare professional & doing his/her job & answering my questions but obviously there’s a time limit. I’m not from VA but from a super busy metropolis so for me I’m spoiled here! I like Dr William Beach’s straightforward manner. I don’t have time to waste in my life as I’m a productive person.

In both interactions I have had with Dr Beach I have felt he has been rushed and was quick to leave the room. I literally had to stop him from leaving in order to ask my questions.

Did a decent job of surgery, does not listen well to patients, does not communicate well with patients or family. Still having problems will see another ortho doctor instead.

You won't find anyone with more experience and knowledge than Dr Beach. He has done two ACL surgeries on my daughter. I completely trust him. He's extremely busy since he's so sought after, but will answer any questions you have. Just come prepared with your questions/concerns!

An excellent Doctor. He has handled both shoulder surgeries as well as a range of other sport issues. Very caring and personable! He is an excellent listener and I have no doubt you would be very happy with Dr. Beach!!

Was seeing a minimum of three patients at the same time. Spent approximately two minutes with me. Walked out of the room without even telling me how to get out of the office. Most likely one of the worst doctor experiences I've ever had.

I write this review After waiting for a pretty long time! Dr. Beach is well worth the wait. I have been a patient for almost ten years and the wait today was the longest I ever had to experience. He is a very knowledgeable, easy going, personable gentleman. I understand doctors' schedules are irregular, so I always anticipate the wait ; however, once I was able to speak with him on my post-surgery visit he apologized for the delay and proceeded to care for me without rushing. Dr. Beach is a great doctor and I am happy to be his patient!
