Carilion Clinic Family Dentistry's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been using this place for the last couple years since 2021. They have always been nice, friendly and respectful. There was a gentleman dentist when I first started going there. I went to have my teeth cleaned, he ended up filling a couple of teeth down to give me a better bite, was a big improvement, no other dentist I had been to had noticed I needed it. I just recently got 4 crowns installed due to older crowns cracking. The new dentist is fantastic, support staff Is awesome. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the work she has done.

A superb dental team of Dr. Jessica Buckwalter, Susan Byrd, and associates. All were professional, courteous, and meticulous in their practice. Dr. Buckwalter thoroughly discussed my assessment and provided thorough treatment. Collectively, they are superior to other dental practices in Roanoke. I highly recommended them!

Dr. Powell is the best. I recommend her highly. My experience with this office was excellent. The staff goes above the normal to make your treatment an excellent experience and your smile beautiful.

A very pleasant atmosphere. From my first phone call to schedule, through the entire appointment they were extremely helpful. I learned a lot about my teeth and how to take better care of them. The dentist is very good at explaining everything and removed an implant retainer that has been bothering me for years; someone else got their tooth taken out while I was there! So they do a wide range of procedures.

Just called to see if I can set up an appointment. As soon as I told her I only have medicaid she couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. She did recommend another place. Of course she didn't have any info as far as a number, which is no big deal but I asked her where this facility is located and she that's when she really got short with me and I could hear her talking to someone else before she actually hung up the phone. So sorry to bother you! I'm in alot of pain and I don't normally write a review good or bad. I guess people who have medicaid are not as important!!

This establishment is wonderful. I received great service. They were kind, patient, and caring. They listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable and at ease. They work until it is RIGHT!!! I highly recommend Dr. Powell and her kind friendly assistant They are fantastic and make a wonderful team

Amazing! Dr. Wilken, Laura, and the rest of the staff were truly awesome! This was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had, everyone was very nice and so friendly. They even made time for me to get some extra dental work done the same day as my cleaning, without having to reschedule an appointment for another day. Highly recommend this office for any and all dental work you may need!

I had to have a tooth pulled, the Dentist and staff were awesome, I would definitely recommend them.

All I can say is best dental experience I've ever had. Everyone was super pleasant. Laura did a great job cleaning my teeth. In fact, in the 35 years I've been alive. I've never had my teeth cleaned this well. It's so refreshing to have my mouth feel so clean and normal again. The dentist himself was also super friendly and very knowledgeable and they are easy to work with if you don't have insurance. This should be your new dentist office if your looking to change.
