Doctor Iskandar has been instrumental assisting with personal growth and creating a healthy lifestyle that everyone around me benefits from. Excellent service from friendly appointment reminders, professional administrative assistance, and prompt responses to emails/call/texts.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I was his patient for about three years and in the duration of this time, he told me to my face he was "giving up on me," and he submitted results of a drug test ordered at his office by my parents to the DMV without consulting with or even notifying me or my parents. To this day I have to do yearly medical reviews at the DMV to keep my license. Because of him, I ended up having to go into 9 months of "substance abuse" (I have depression, I am not an addict) treatment in order to keep my license. He ruined my life. Don't let him ruin yours.

Dr. Iskander was recommended by a counselor that my teenager was seeing approx. 3-4 years ago. We have been with him since! I've always enjoyed our talks and seeing how he interacts with my teenager. I've found him to be punctual, dependable, very compassionate as well as a great listener. He is not one to just push medicine. For us, mental health needs have not been a quick fix but rather a discovery of options and treatments - of which both Dr. Iskander and the patient each have a vital role. I take our time and needs very serious - as does Dr. Iskander. His Office Manager, Hillary, is most helpful and extremely efficient with all calls/appointments/inquiries and displays an infectious attitude! I can honestly say that Dr. Iskander is a trusted mental health advocate and professional. I appreciate that he speaks directly about topics and behaviors, always in a compassionate way vs. avoiding them. As a result, I value and highly recommend!

Decent Doc, but got billed for a full appointment after an 8 min follow up conversation, I called and said I disagreed w/ the billing and now they will not see my child again. It's the bottom line / money for this practice, and that's it. My opinion only. That was our experience, you may have a different one.

Two stars because the receptionist is very efficient and kind. Dr Iskandar dismissed me from his service because I had a 9 minute telephone “appointment” with him. I called back a few days later and told the receptionist I felt like he didn’t listen/understand what I was saying. I was working in a covid ICU after months of agoraphobia and not working or leaving the house much. I was having a very hard time. I was reassured that Dr Iskandar wants to hear about things like this and she read me the message out loud before sending it to him. It was a polite message. A couple of hours later I received a call from the receptionist (?) Dr Iskandar released me from his service and said he did listen to me and they would send me a list of other psychiatrist. Oddly, a couple months later he ended up calling me for a random, made up appointment and left a message.

I didn't even end up speaking to Dr. Iskandar because I wouldn't have been able to get an appointment right away because of my insurance but everyone was super nice while talking to me! I spoke with Hilary over the phone and she took time out of her day to give me some great advice even though it was clear right away that I wouldn't be able to go to her office. Thanks again! Very lovely experience.

My Son and I saw Dr. Joe for years. He gives you the attention you need. Always gives options and chance to involve in the decision making. He always available when we needed him. Highly recommended. Even my PCP and therapist loves him.

Initially interested in helping, after a few visits he wants $175 for a 10 minute or less chat on the phone. He wants to hear you are great and increase your medications and be on your way. Cocky and arrogant. Unaware of social norms.

Dr. Iskandar is patient and helpful with my stepdaughter . He is also very knowledgeable about pediatric psychiatric behaviors and medications. He has been a wonderful find for us! My only complaint is that he isn't covered by insurance - but, if he was, he probably wouldn't be so wonderful!

Dr. Iskandar is truly amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate & supportive. He is dedicated and spends time understanding and working with you. He has changed my life in so many positive ways. His office and the office staff make you feel comfortable and important.
