The initial consultation appointment was a bit of a hassle to schedule (half a year out, and they also rescheduled me to a later date) - it seems like they are flooded with doctor referrals. That was the only part of this process that has been less than ideal, and even then it was not an inconvenience since I was alerted months in advance. Dr. Hoover is clearly a knowledgeable and reliable professional, and he has been so kind and helpful in the process of allergy testing. He made sure I fully understood what we were attempting or looking for at each step, and was always happy to answer a question. The staff has been just as polite and respectful - I am very thankful to have been referred here.

Dr. Hoover is a great physician and very nice. The problem is that I was never told up front how much my insurance would cover for the allergy test and treatment and how much I should expect to pay out of pocket. So, the bill was a huge surprise. Then, after a long battle with Carilion billing, they failed to inform me of an outstanding charge of $15 and sent it to collections. I was never informed of this bill. I stopped going to the office and discontinued the allergy treatment due to the lack of proper communication from the billing department. If you have an awesome insurance, then Dr. Hoover is a great doctor. If your insurance sucks, then you are likely up for a treat with a surprise large bill like it happened to me.

First of all I spent thousand here for allergy treatment not including the time involved driving to the office located in a favela. With auto pay set up they some how sent a $15 claim to collections. I don't have 1 notice of this statement, nor can the office prove I had been notified. This place and their treatments are a scam; huge money racket.

My referral was in April 2021. I was scheduled for November 2021. They canceled and rescheduled for February 2022. Then they canceled that and scheduled me for May 2022. The aggravating part was I was in the waiting room for PT and heard the women call someone from the referral list for a next day appointment. Very disorganized. I the meantime I am waiting for over a year for an appointment.
