Absolutely terrible, doctor lied to me and my family. She prescribed medicine for my 2 year-old and said "I would never prescribe that for her!"

We met with a bossy c*nty nurse. That was it. This wh*re was heavy on pushing the bullsh*t of covid vaccines. She was a total idi*t. Extremely abrasive. We were supposed to meet the doctor, but we didn't get that far. She was in a meeting.

Dr Fernando and staff go above and beyond!! When my daughter was having seizures and the office was closed, the on call nurse works at Mary Washington hospital!! Yes!! Thank you Jesus!! And they were able to get me an ambulance and had all of my daughters information already from the doctor’s office yes!! After everything Dr Fernando wanted to see my daughter and make sure everything was ok. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR FERNANDO AND HER STAFF!! God bless Dr Fernando and her staff!!

We have been coming here for years, with two kids now. Dr. Fernando and her staff are attentive, kind, and really listen to concerns you may have about your child. I can’t say enough good things! She’s the best!

We could not be more pleased with Yum pediatrics. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr Fernando is a wonderful listener and a very thorough doctor. I love her take on nutrition and not always resulting in writing a script at every visit. Thankful we have such a wonderful practice in our community that puts the children first!

I called these folks to schedule a physical for our sons Kindergarten school physical and the receptionist was so rude. She kept over talking me then told me that they couldn't see our son because he has no medical records???? I'm sorry, but he has had all of his vaccinations, hasn't required any sick visits since he was 2yrs of age and has been incredibly healthy . Why is this being frowned on by this practice??? Very very odd and wow, I would not go now even if there were no other options. I've been an RN in critical care for 20 plus years and would never treat anyone this way over the phone or in person. That young lady does not need to work with the public period.

Dr. Fernando and her staff is amazing! We’ve been going to her office since Jan 2022 for my first baby - he is a lady’s man in the office!! Everyone is so sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. I have Crohn’s Disease and receive Remicade infusions, I did throughout the whole pregnancy, I was told he had to wait until 6 months for any live vaccines. I called another Peds office to get more information about their office before my son was born and told them about the vaccine situation and they basically ignored me!! They told me they haven’t heard of that and were planning to just do the normal vaccine schedule!? That was a red flag so I did some more searching and found Yum Peds and I’m so so thankful I did. They listen! They care! That’s so rare for this area. My son is currently 8 weeks and having gas issues, I called last night right after they closed and spoke to Mary Wash Nurse Triage about his issues to ease my worries that it could be anything other than just the switch of formula because of Similac’s recent recall. Yum Peds called me back right after opening this morning to check on him and see if I needed anything. They gave me suggestions, they eased my mind as the nurse triage line did. I’m very pleased with the care my son receives from this team. They treat him like he’s their own, they answer any questions I have, they educate me and reassure me as a new mom. From the front office, to the nurses, to Dr. Fernando it’s always been a wonderful and laughter filled experience. They’re relatable and so helpful. They even gave us formula samples because I was supplementing before switching to just formula! Thank you ladies for doing all that you do for us!

We have been taking our son here since he was born. They have an amazing staff and Dr. Fernando is the best doctor you can ask for. She’s very knowledgeable, friendly, relatable, and caring.
