I am highly disappointed at the service my child received today at NOVA pediatrics. We had an appointment scheduled in advance for a concern, but an hour before her appointment she began showing symptoms of illness unrelated to our originally scheduled appointment. Upon arrival we notified the nurse my child needed to be seen for both our original concern and the sudden illness. NOVA pediatrics stated that my child could only be seen for one concern at a time and we would have to schedule another appointment (on another day) to be seen for either the illness or original concern. I understand that NOVA has a policy that states you will be charged for discussing other topics not associated with your original appointment (which we were okay with paying). But having us schedule another appointment on a completely different day is terrible customer service. I am highly disappointed. Medical billing and being able to charge for two separate visits is more important than patient care to NOVA Pediatrics. I go above and beyond to keep my customers happy at my job, and I am considerate of their time. Shame on your business model NOVA Pediatrics.
