Carolina Hernandez's Online Review Report Card

Spends a lot of time complaining about being a doctor, how no one wants to work, does not like questions about fees. Does not listen. Told me that she needs to know education levels so she knows how to speak to people. Quick tempered.

They BULLIED me to Change & list Dr Hernandez as my Primary Provider on my Insurance Card; which I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY & when I Noticed how POORLY they handled making my appointment & how I was LIED 2 that I 4got my prescriptions.... WHICH WAS NEVA GIVEN 2 ME; I NO LONGER wanted 2 return 2 a facility THAT I COULD SEE didn't hv many patients & Later noticed it had LOW REVIEWS Online!! THESE SLIMBALLS ...

After being seen I was scheduled a new appointment, but NEVA handed the script 2 get my lab work .... But when I called 2 days later LATER 2 ask; I was Told that I left it?? Soo, I was then Told it would b emailed to me THAT DAY of Friday....m but it IT NEVA CAME!!! Soo,I called Back in Monday & had it socalled resent, While given a STORY of how she was working from Home & contacted the office to send it.....& that IT was showing from her office emails that it Was sent; Soo HOW was she able to send it While we were talking BUT it DIDN'T go through from her cockamamie Story she was giving me??? I Believe ALL of This occurred & buildup from when I made my 1st made my appt; that I felt BULLIED that if I wanted to be seen.....I would HAVE 2 change the name of my Primary Doc on my card & Now Wait 4 a new card to arrive!!! I thought it was ODD because I've been seen by other primary doctors, since I'm still New to VA. & had NO PROBLEMS wit THIS kind of DEMAND b4!?!?! As I'm feeling BULLIED

Please be cautious if deciding to go to this office. Went to first appointment asking for a well check because it was one of only options in the area for the insurance. They refused to do a well check because during the exam it was discovered there was an ear infection. Therefore we would have to come back for another appointment to do the full well check(patient moved here and needed refills on several medications). I asked if we could just get refills on medications that she clearly had in her file Or at least referrals to doctors to help with the refills. Dr. said no that we would need to do that at a well check. Next appointment was well check (a month later) and again we asked for referrals and medication in her file. They said we would need another appointment for the referrals. We did so, again. At that appt they gave a low dose of medication and said “will get your referrals when you leave.” They did not. We waited. Then we asked the front desk, to which she said she would have someone call us since the doctor was in with someone else. We never received call back and never received referrals. We did a virtual visit for medication check and again asked for referrals. They said they would call refill in at an increased dose and said we would need to do an in person appt for referrals. We waited on the prescription. They did not call in an increased rX. We have left 5 messages asking why the increase did not occur. Not one time have we received a call back. It has been one full year since the first appointment and all that was accomplished was my daughters ear infection cleared up. And one prescription given at too low of dose. Limited options in the area due to insurance. However the principle of the matter is we paid for the appointments and did not received the promised service.

If I could give Dr. Hernandez 0 stars I would be. She is the sort of doctor that wants to play god instead of giving patient care. While reviewing my blood work she kept telling me everything we were going to do and when I said no it became an issue. I explained that I am the type of patient that wants to be involved in my care and that I need her to explain what she plans to do for me to make an informed decision and she blew up! She told me that the way she does things is to review all the labs and then answer questions (which I wouldn't have known as this was only my second time seeing her) and that she would print out my labs so I could find another doctor. I will note that while reviewing the labs, though, she kept listing everything that was going to be done and asking if it was ok. I was asked why I even came to the doctors office if I wasn't going to take her advice! I tried to discuss things and was berated and told that I would not be allowed to treat her like that because I had said no with some force due to having been ignored the first time I'd said no. Even when leaving the office after receiving my lab work so I could find another doctor I'd asked just to speak to her for a moment as I could tell she was upset and I don't like to let things be that way. Her reaction was to tell me no that she had patients to attend to and walked away. This doctor has absolutely no interest in patient care and seriously lacks the maturity that I would expect from someone that seems to want to be taken at their word without any questions or concerns.

Dr. Hernandez came highly recommended by a couple of my work friends, and they were right! Ever since she became my Doctor I have witnessed first hand that she genuinely cares for her patiens. She is very attentive to her clients and goes the extra mile to make sure her clients have been listened to and cared for by her and her amazing staff ( she hires the best to join her team). She provides the most up to date treatment and top of the line medical care. As a combat veteran, I truly appreciate Dr. Hernandez, to include her professional team of Nurses and staff. In my experience, Dr. Hernandez is clearly committed to providing 110% to her clients. It is a joy having Dr. Hernandez care for me and my whole family. This is why Dr. Hernandez has been my persnal Doctor for many years, and will continue to be so for many more to come. Thank you Dr. Hernandez.

If it hadn't been for her I would have been dead. Even worse I would have had an amputation. God bless her always

I love Dr. Hernandez she is an awesome doctor but if you don’t pay your bill they send it to an attorney and they make you pay the attorney fees in top of what you owe the office. In my situation I had no time bc I’m working two jobs and keep forgetting to call them. And when I do get the chance it’s too late.. I even explained it to the lady that I called to pay bill and she said they can’t do anything about it. That she can take the payment for the office visit but I’ll have to contact the attorneys office to pay the attorney fees..
