List of Embrey Mill Dental Care's Reviews
I am 23 years old and have severe dental trauma and suffer from Bipolar disorder. I was in a particularly hard place with both my physical and mental health 2021 to About June of this year. I had terrible dental hygiene during this period of time. Because of all of my issues going back to the dentist once I got out of routine was hard i was terrified and embarrassed. My parents began coming to this office this year, and they told me i would be amazed at how the office and everyone in it conducted themselves. Oh man, were they right. I was first called back and we started the x-rays and scans. The woman(I believe her name was Zara) was so kind and explained everything that she was doing before she did it and continuously checked in with me making sure i was okay. Then Mary came into the room, she assured me that I was the boss and that they wouldn’t do anything without making sure i was okay and that it was okay to continue. The doctor came into the room and we discussed my care plan and what they would want to do to get my smile healthy again. He even assured me that I shouldn’t feel so bad, even he as a dentist was due for an appointment(I didn’t believe him he probably has perfect teeth LOL). They devised a care plan for me and Claire at the reception broke down how much it would cost and what to do first to maximize my benefits. I did cry throughout the appointment due to my own trouble regulating my emotions while facing a fear of mine, but this office did everything in their power to make me feel welcome, telling me that my heart was more important than my teeth, so to try not to stress about my teeth so hard. I have a lot of dental work ahead of me but honestly I don’t think I could’ve found a better office to get it done at. Thank you to everyone at your office for the kind and understanding environment that you foster and the beautiful and homey environment you provide. I lived in Stafford all but 1 month of my 23 years and can say this office is an excellent and important and essential business to have.
They were precessional quick and painless
My wife went to the embrey mill dental care for a regular check up. The minute she got there she did not feel comfortable. She was told that she needed multiple treatments and a crown replacement costing close to $2,000. This did not seem right so she left and went to her previous dentist for a second opinion. Lo and behold the dentist said that she did NOT need any of those services! It seems to me that this place is a scam and rip off. We will be reporting this business to the insurance companies as they are committing fraud. Insurance fraud for recommending unnecessary treatments. Scamming customers out of their hard earned money! I warn you DO NOT go to this place, you WILL REGRET IT! SHAME ON ANDREW POOR EXCUSE FOR A DENTIST! You took the "Hippocratic Oath" and are not standing by it.
My son was being seen by a dentist I Woodbridge and they had said he needed to have 2 teeth removed and 2 root canal's (on baby teeth). We decided to get a second opinion. We set one up with embrey mill dental. The appointment process was really easy. They also send multiple reminders which is great for busy parents like myself. My son only ended up needing 1 tooth removed and 1 tooth filling but that was it. We have been coming here ever since and have had great experiences.
Embry Mill Dental Care where you're treated more like a piece of equipment on an assembly line than a patient. I received a tooth filling that resulted in multiple issues that didn't exist before I went. I was told that I needed to replace all my old metallic fillings which I've had zero issues with for 15 + years. Lo and behold, after they performed their filling, I began to experience tooth pain in one of the said metal fillings. There was never an issue with that tooth, so of course, they offered to drill it out and replace it. After that, I experienced severe tooth sensitivity, so they referred me to a specialist to see if I needed a root canal, which I did not, and I am still experiencing sensitivity. Every time I went in for anything, even a routine cleaning (which is nothing more than a floss and polishing), it seemed they would find a new issue. My wife has also had multiple issues with their care. She received a temporary crown on a Thursday, and it fell out less than 24 hours later; when she called about getting it fixed, she was told she'd have to wait until Monday. After making it through the weekend, she went in and had it fixed for it to fall out again in less than 24 hours. ** Update: now the permanent crown has fallen out, and the dentist won't be back for a week.** This is by far the worst dental care we've had, and that's after we've both had 20+ years of military dental care, so that should say something.

The doc could take a bit more time to ask if I had questions or concerns and maybe look at the patient’s face. The compute is behind the head of the chair so it’s very difficult to have a conversation. Otherwise the rest of the staff is great. Sarah and Merry are very pleasant 🙂
Very helpful. Make you feel welcome and safe! They treat you like a child make you feel safe. :)
Good experience as a 1st time patient. Dentist has good beside manner and all the staff are happy and inviting.
Always pleased with my visits for cleanings and general dental care…

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
