Pediatric Partners Of Stafford's Online Review Report Card

This review is geared towards my children's visit with provider Van Horn today. I took both of my kids together for a sick visit. Immediately upon entering she started shushing my daughter who just turned two a few months ago. I simply stared in confusion and didn’t say anything, but then yet again any time my daughter (granted, she’s TWO) would try to speak to me she would immediately shush at her and when I stated the obvious to her that my daughter is 2 years old and shouldn’t be shushed for speaking, she said that she should be disciplined from a young age how to behave and know not to talk when someone else is talking. Anyone who has a toddler knows how much they love to talk and how social they are. I have never had an issue with any other provider, they all have been warm and welcoming but this provider made us so uncomfortable and was extremely rude. Yet again when the provider was saying something to me, she stopped mid sentence and just rudely stared at my daughter who also was trying to say something to me and I told the provider that she can continue speaking as I can hear her perfectly fine and she sighed and said well I can’t hear you (I was not talking, I’m not the one here to give advice so not sure why she said that) and she said she couldn’t focus. I’m flabbergasted at how this individual is a PEDIATRIC provider. I would never bring my children to see her nor recommend her. I had several concerns regarding my older child that I didn’t even get to properly receive the support I needed because I honestly wanted to leave and get my children out of the room away from her. Someone who is rude to toddlers, someone who doesn’t like small children, and someone who can not concentrate around them but gets upset when they are speaking, should not be licensed to care for them. I could only begin to imagine the horror of a child who is autistic or has a disability would face if this provider was seeing them. Please book your visit with someone else, and wait an extra day to see someone else if you have to.

We have been coming here for sixteen years and have seen Dr. Walsh for all wellness checks and occasionally an NP for appointments that were kind of urgent. Everyone we have seen have been kind, patient and helpful making appointments. My kids are comfortable with everyone that works with us and Dr. Walsh has always been thorough during checkups and knowledgeable.

Not fond of every NP. Seem to lack any understanding of children, and would rather refer you out for an evaluation before looking at the bigger picture or a child’s daily environment. Second, had previously called after hours in the past and been able to speak to a nurse. Called recently and there was no nurse line, the person that answered didn’t understand what I was talking about, and seemed ignorant to even transfer me to their “nurse medical advice” line he called it when I said I needed to speak to a nurse about my son. If there is no longer a nurse line after hours, they should say that or make that apparent. Not impressed by this office at all, and it was waitlisted.

Wellness checks were nothing to write home about, however, their billing department is very shady and I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I went here in 2017 for a couple of years then came back in 2023. I decided in 2024 to go to a different office. A few days after requesting our paperwork, I received a collection letter from the office for an unpaid 2023 balance. I was never made aware of this bill. When I called the office, they gave me a different number for billing. When I spoke to billing, she said she had an old address for me although I updated it at the 2023 visit. She said it's not her fault because they work in different offices. I had to pull teeth to figure out what the bill was even for. She finally gave me a code but could not tell me any more information about when the bill was sent, why insurance didn't cover it, what the code was for, and when she sent me the bill to my incorrect address. She put me on hold multiple times to talk to her manager. I asked to speak to her manager and she said "my manager said I have no business talking to the manager" and they already sent it off to collections so I can just deal with it

Great practice, and great team of providers!

We had a terrible experience here. NP Deborah Hawley - has little patience and terrible bedside manner. My son was not happy about being there and crying and she told him "sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do". She also pretty much told us we were bad parents and recommended a book for us to read. We will be finding another provider. This treatment makes you wonder why someone would be a work with children when they have no patience.

Love my sons doctor and nursing staff. Always good information and lots of information, answers questions. Great team who delivers great care in my opinion

All my children have been seen by this office for years and I have always been happy with the care they provide. They are quick and efficient, the nurses and doctors are caring and great with the kids. Same day appointments have never been an issue unless it’s a peak season and everyone is sick which is understandable, the wait times during this season Will also be bad, but it isn’t as if they are doing it on purpose. No they don’t have kids books or activities, it isn’t a playground it’s a doctors office. Yes they will give you advice on what’s good or not good for your child if you’re offended by that then maybe you should go to med school and get a degree.

Can’t speak about the doctor(s) but the front was office super rude, spoke to me like I was an inconvenience when I called to make an appointment for my kids. Very unprofessional.
