Reshma Parab's Online Review Report Card

I have been seen by 4 different Endocrinologists for the last 15 years. By far Dr. Parab is the best. She takes the time to ask questions concerning my state between visits, fully explains all related lab results, and makes recommendations to improve my quality of life. She also has a friendly personality that puts one at ease. Highly recommend Dr. Parab.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Parab is a great doctor. She listens. Spends time explaining and has a great bedside manner. The problem is her front office staff. They NEVER answer the phone. NEVER. So you can't schedule an appointment, cancel an appointment, ask the nurse a question, or anything else that involves speaking to a live person. I have called that office several days in a row and could not get anyone. They tell you to leave a message and you'll get a callback within 72 hours. That is a lie. I've left several messages and never got a callback. I once called around lunchtime (which they are quick to turn the phone off for) and the "operator" answered and said he couldn't take a message. He is only available to contact an emergency physician. What?! That's what 911 is for. I have had to call Dr. Parab's former office to try to make an appt (and complain - which they told me they get a lot of calls complaining about the current office) and they had Dr. Parab's current office manager call me. She gave a bunch of excuses as to why they never answer the phone - one being that they have over 100 voicemails every day that they are tending to. I should mention that the times that I've been to this office, I've not seen the staff on the phone AT ALL. So those voicemails people are leaving are in vain. The times I was in the office I saw the staff talking to one another and people watching. The only way you will talk to that office is if they initiate a call with you. So good luck. I cannot in good faith recommend this practice. I explained this to Dr. Parab and she completely understood. She told me to complain to higher-ups as well.

She is caring and takes time to explain details about your symptoms and care. She takes time to listen you your concerns. All the staff are kind as well.

Parab is VERY RUDE !!!!!!!!!!! Would NEVER go to her again !

Rude and dismissive. Exact words... If you don't like it you can find another doctor. Not a problem!

Dr. Parab is always helpful and knowledgeable. She never makes me feel unsafe or bad about myself, which is hard to find in a good endo, and I’ll continue to see her as long as I live in the region.

Dr. Parab is good but you have to make it past the front office staff to see her. Very rude, hardly answer the phone, and unprofessional. Trying out the Stafford office now and hoping they are better than the Mary WA office. Sad the they would not hire the very best for a specialty office.

I was so excited to see Dr. Parab, but she did not listen to me or my symptoms and then put me on Synthroid. Went to another doctor (not an endo) and he was concerned about my pulse rate being so high and advised I go back to her. She said if I stopped taking the medication there was no other available options to treat the thyroid which was a lie! If she didn’t want to work with me because I had a reaction to the medication that’s all she had to say instead of throwing her hands up and saying there was no other way to help me besides Synthroid. Thank goodness I never went back. I’m on a completely different thyroid medication now, and I have none of those side effects. Whatever kickbacks she is receiving for handing out one medication I hope it is worth risking her patients lives.

She truly cares about her patients. She is knowledgeable and so caring. I have now transferred two brothers to her practice.

Dr. Parab and her team are amazing. After FOUR YEARS of fighting to get a doctor to run the tests to diagnose me properly, I found Dr. Parab. Her team managed to squeeze me in for a new patient visit incredibly quickly (I requested a cal if they had any cancellations bc the first available spot was months out). Dr. Parab took my concerns seriously, actually knew more about my suspected diagnosis than I did, and ran the correct labs. Since diagnosis, she and her team have been incredibly responsive working with my insurance and pharmacy to get me the proper medications and communicate clearly with me about use. I am SO GRATEFUL I found her.
