It was so easy to make tele-health appointment for my 6yr old daughter with pink eye. The nurse that called to triage was so nice and personable! When visit began the doctor and myself had tech issues where we could see each other but could not here. The doctor was funny and started conversation via sticky notes and showing it to camera. My daughter was the patient and him being resourceful with a smile on his face made her laugh and made the visit 100% easier. Eventually we were able to hear one another and the appointment was super fast but did not feel rushed at all. As a prev clinical employee there I know clinical staff and providers can make or break an entire visit with just one little thing and this visit was truly comfortable, fast, educational about diagnosis, and everyone was professional, helpful, understanding, and very down to earth!!! Thanks again!!!
I scheduled an appointment online. Staff was friendly and efficient as they checked me in. I waited in the waiting room less than ten minutes, then was seen by triage and taken back to an exam room. The physician came within five minutes and quickly diagnosed my issue. He was thorough and informative and did not seem hurried. Twenty-four hours later, I am feeling much better.
Great experience! My son needed a sports physical and everyone was very friendly and professional. I also appreciate that these can be done on the weekend when you need it last minute like we did:(
I walked in with an urgent need, my check in was smooth and quickly processed. The nurse and doctor were sympathetic and very kind. Professional knowledgeable and kind. I totally recommend them.
Very polite and knowledgeable staff, I recommend highly.
Wasn't sure bad as I thought
Arrived wanting a physical for my daughter. I was informed by her school that a sports physical was acceptable for entry since she had a vaccine exemption. I did this in years past at the Harrisonburg location. The lady at the desk needed to ask the doctor if it was “ok” and made a big deal out of it. They don’t accept insurance for sports physicals which is fine. Let me pay the $45 give it to her and if it doesn’t suffice it’s my problem (however I knew it would). I went back and forth with the woman for 5 minutes and she acted like it was a huge deal stating that the sports physical was only for middle and high schoolers. I ended up leaving and going to Harrisonburg and they gave me what I wanted/needed. As I did 4 years ago. The woman at the front desk at the Staunton location was utterly oblivious and couldn’t wrap her head around what I was saying (I’m wondering if she understands 5 years olds do need sports physicals too ex: Peewee football and cheerleading). I wanted a sports physical for my daughter who is 5, it was that simple. Let me pay the money and provide the service. It wasn’t rocket science. Thankfully the people at the Harrisonburg location had NO issues with us, oh and the school accepted it!
I’ve had several visits and they have all been very efficient and professional. Getting in to be seen is a lot easier than seeing my PCP.
Fast and easy video chat and got the meds i needed right away
I’ve had a good experience at MedExpress previously but this time it wasn’t. Dr. Morey saw our 3-week-daughter about a boil under her arm, and wanted to send us to the ER so they could run tests and lance it. She didn’t have a good bedside manner and seemed smug and like she didn’t care about our baby. When we said we wanted a refund if we went to the ER since she wasn’t going to take care of the boil, she changed her tune and said she could lance it if we signed a form saying her advice was to go to the ER. We signed and the boil got lanced and treated, and it’s been a few days and our baby is doing great. The nurses were friendly but it all depends on which doctor you see - ours didn’t have a good bedside manner and didn’t seem to care about her patient, just avoiding giving us a refund.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
