My family was racially profiled as soon as we arrived. My heart is hurting right now because how my family was treated. Horrible customer service.
Absolutely disgusted in this companys ability to listen to their patient when you are constantly talking over the person how can you hear them when the person shows up on time for their appointment and you cant be bothered to be on time
Was there with my son and everyone was awesome. We had been going to UVA dermatology and I was tired of the 2 minute visit and leaving with problems not solved. Dr. Lynch was great and made my son feel comfortable.
I was recently seen at the Fishersville location for a skin exam. The lobby was strangely vacant and unfurnished. There were no photos on the walls and random full banker boxes just sitting in the lobby. The tech who took me back appeared unkempt. I asked her if they were in the process of moving in or out of the office. She said in, I guess, we have been here 8 months. I don't feel the PA was thorough and the appointment felt rushed. The office did not feel sanitary or organized. I had previously been seen at their Staunton location which was much more professional and clean.
I had an appointment with Dr. L. Kidd on July 8, at 1:30. I made this appointment over the phone on June 4. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30 pm and I arrived a few minutes after 1 pm as I'd been instructed. Upon arriving at the office, and waiting for some time, the staff told me the doctor was fully booked and wasn't going to see me. Danielle (manager?) informed me there had been a mix-up with my appointment and took responsibility for it, but the doctor refused to see me; i.e. she refused to honor my appointment, even though I'd been a established patient. No apologies and no attempt to accommodate me. No concern for the fact that I had planned my day, work meetings, etc. around this appointment. Or that I had to drive 45 minutes each way for my appointment. If it had been the other way around-- if I had been late or hadn't showed up for my appointment-- they probably would have charged me.
I never rate doctor's offices just for the sake of privacy but I don't want anyone to suffer like I did. I did not have insurance for over two years and when I finally got it, i decided to see a dermatologist for my body acne. It was something I had struggled with in my early teens to my 20s. My initial consultation with Dr. Miller was 20 minutes. It was obvious that him and his nurses didn't care too much and saw my acne as something cosmetic. Their fax machine doesn't work at all. My family doctor tried faxing them something three times and it wouldn't go through. My second appointment with him I waited for over two hours and his nurses were incredibly rude. I met with a new dermatologist who ran labs on me and found out that I had a bacterial infection and another underlying condition which requires me to see another specialist to manage it. I don't feel comfortable sharing what that condition is. I am disappointed that Dr. Miller missed something this important. Bacterial infections and underlying conditions aren't cosmetic. I am writing this in hope that whoever reads this doesn't go through what I went through. Please seek a dermatologist with experience and decent bedside manner. Please seek a dermatologist who is invested in their patients and is willing to take the time to run bloodwork and cultures.
I was really frustrated to have made one of the first appointments of the morning, and I still set in the office for an hour and wasn't seeing. When I asked the receptionist about it, she seemed a pathetic. So I just left. Be prepared to wait a long time for your scheduled appointment!
While it's been awhile since I've been in, I want to appreciate the doctor and staff for taking great care of me during a trying pre-surgery experience. I was able to quickly get an appointment for allergy testing that required several return visits. Every step was explained well and supportive documents were provided on the process and outcomes. They provided my surgeon with the necessary information needed for my care. The staff was extremely efficient and friendly in a lovely and accessible location. They were remarkable in fitting appointments into my busy schedule. They represent a great team under positive leadership. Thanks

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
