Did a wonderful job on a mohs nose procedure. Barely noticeable scar after 10 days. Cordial and made the whole procedure smooth. Highly recommend. Very nice well mannered gentleman.

I've had 4 Mohs surgeries, two with Dr.Vance. I'm so comfortable with him that I actually watched my last surgery! I can't say enough about his fabulous staff!

I was made feel very comfortable at Dr. Vance and the staff. When I first went in I was scared to death but everyone there calmed me down.I did not have to wait very long until the Doctor saw me and that means a lot to me. Dr. Vance and his staff made my recent Mohs surgery stress free with his exceptional skills and the competence of his staff. This is my second Mohs surgery, the previous by another physician, and I'd prefer and highly recommend Dr. Vance.

I am one who needs to understand things - the whys, the whats, the hows.... Dr Vance was happy to answer any and all of my questions, and to do so in a way in which i could understand. He is friendly and fun, yet always professional. Most importantly, he is confident and thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of his specialty with an extensive understanding of the peripherals so as to be able to put things in context. His team is top notch as well. Assistants seem to anticipate every possible need of Dr Vance, yet are always aware of me and how I'm feeling at any given time. Additionally, they're intelligent, friendly and funny. Comfortable conversation goes a long way in reinforcing that general sense of well being that is so important in putting one's mind at ease in an unfamiliar situation. In short, everyone at Central Virginia Skin Surgery Center is absolutely top-notch. From the smiling, friendly face who greets you at the front door, to the giant gimp-suited guy who tosses you out the back door when you're done, and everyone in-between, Dr. Vance has assembled a truly ace team of people - I cannot recommend them more highly. ...And, by the way, there is no gimp-suited giant to throw anyone out the back door - i kind of just made him up - Sorry to disappoint. Dr Stephen Vance performed MOHS surgery 2 times on my nose and he is a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend him if you need to have skin surgery for cancer. He is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable during procedures
