What a true revelation of pure expertise in dental practice. I could never have imagined that complex dental treatment could be so painless and such a pleasant experience. I was struck by the warmth of Dr. Alvarez and his staff from the moment I entered his surgery. I have had very unpleasant experiences with very highly reviewed dentists in Northern Virginia but my experience with Dr. Alvarez was truly first class. He is stuck with me as his patient for the rest of my life and he sure has a lot of work to do on me, even though he has made my smile look on top of the world already. What good fortune it was to select him as my family dentist a few months ago.

Came in on a coworkers recommendation and for a second opinion. Daisy at the front was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Dr. Alvarez got me into the chair quick and took a look at me. He ended up confirming what I suspected and made a recommendation to a specialist. Daisy then helped me get an appointment set up and handled a lot of the back and forth with the specialist. There was a hiccup with my insurance information and Daisy ended up calling me to check and see if everything went smoothly. I explained the situation and she took it upon herself to reach out to them and clear up the situation. Definitely earned my business from now on.

Highly recommend. Dr. Alvarez is very professional. I go there for regular cleaning routines. Did the Invisalign treatment and it lasted 6.5 months. Couldn't have been happier now that I better smile.

Dr. Alvarez is easily one of the best Crown specialists that I've ever found, my crown is good and it's been 3y already, my wife's crown came off (it was done by someone else) and the replacement crown Dr Alvarez did is great. Gentle, pacient and very flexible as you need it. Hard to find dentist like that.

We have been seeing Dr. Alvarez for quite awhile. His professionalism and dedication to his patients is by far the best we have had in decades. He truly cares about his patients. Dr. Alvarez is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and skillful! His office is beautiful with amazing technology. I love that his dental chair has a massage chair feature that is very helpful in calming any nerves. I am a relatively new patient and I first came to his office for tooth pain on an old filling. He informed me that there was decay underneath my old filling and he cleaned it all up and restored the tooth to brand new! He has a very gentle touch and my filling was painless! He is now my GO TO dentist and I love that as a dental student he explains everything to me in detail. I also clench my teeth really bad at night and he recommended I get a mouth guard to prevent any tooth damage. The process was very fast! He quickly scanned my teeth and my bite so that my night guard would perfectly fit and it was sent to a lab. I received my night guard very fast in a few weeks and it fits perfect! Dr. Alvarez really cares for his patients and really implements preventative care.
