Barakat Orthodontics - Sterling's Online Review Report Card

Barakat Orthodontics is top-notch. I cannot recommend highly enough. From the moment I walked through their doors, I knew I was in good hands. The staff is not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and welcoming. Dr. Barakat and her team are true experts in their field, and they all have a passion for helping their patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles and that is evident in everything they do. Throughout my braces journey with Barakat Orthodontics, I received nothing short of exceptional care. Dr. Barakat and all of my dentists took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, and I always felt informed and involved in my treatment plan. the results speak for themselves. I am absolutely thrilled with my new smile.

This place is the Disney of all orthodontics offices! From the moment I got on a call with them to schedule my free consultation to the moment we step out of the office (the kids didn't even want to leave, it was THAT pleasant of a place) we had such a great experience. I called on a Friday afternoon only a couple hours before they close asking if they can schedule my two kids for a consultation. The nicest lady name Dawn helped me with the scheduling for the SAME day! Then we went there and were greeted by all of the staff! Val helped us with all of our questions, she was super nice and very polite, had a nice small on the entire time. Explained the process to me and my two kids, went over the payment plans, etc. There was a cart filled with all kind of treats and my kids had a blast. They use the latest and greatest technologies to take the X-Rays, scan the mouth, etc. Dr. Barakat is a very experienced doctor, she was so kind to us and went over everything with us. These nice staff helped us so much today and made us feel very welcome: Canan, Dawn, Val, Kelly, Kris, Genesis,Marjorie and Amanda. The office was packed filled with patients, that alone shows how experience the doctor is and how much they care about their patients. Each of my kids got a treatment plan tailored for their specific needs, customized for them so they can be happy with their braces and Invisalign. I went to other places (very famous ones in the area) and none impressed me (treatment wise, price wise and experience wise), Dr. Barakat and Val helped me so much with selecting treatments for each of my kids and we left the place knowing we are going to be in great hands!

Barakat Orthodontics are great. Really nice people - great with the kids. Unfortunately they employ Smile Doctors collection agency - and those guys are the worst. Despite having great insurance, Smile Doctors are constantly haranguing us, and not even the front office of Barakat can get them off our back. Smile Docs call for all kinds of other reasons too, sales, marketing, could be anything, and when you call back they never know why they called you or who called you. It's incredibly sad but can't recommend going with Barakat until they find someone else to help manage their billing.

Excellent service and staff I would definitely recommend for teens and adults!

This is the best orthodontist location in Northern Virginia.I highly recommend it if you have a son or daughter trying to get their teeth fixed.They are the best source of braces or any other appliance your child may need. All the staff is very nice and cooperative, they are all very professional and know how to calm down your kids if they are anxious. Always very knowledgeable and ready to answer all your questions.

I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years now, and everytime I go here I’m always excited because there’s always something new to look forward to! 🤗 everyone is so nice and funny, i’m actually gonna miss coming here

I have been wanting to do something about my crooked front teeth and chipping edges. I was referred to Dr. Barakat by my dentist but I have know her ( Dr. Barakat) for long time and know she does awesome work. With Invisalign and the smile app I can have the doctor keep in touch with the aligning progress without weekly in-office visits. During my placement appointment Marjorie ( the assistant) was very gentle and explained everything. Dr. Barakat was very thorough from the first consult appointment to my in office appointment. It has been a short time but I can already feel the difference. I look forward to my healthy and properly aligned smile.
