As soon as you walk in the girls at the front desk are so pleasant and friendly. The Nurses and Doctor explains everything and give you options on what procedures they think would be the best for you. And lastly check out also great sets up next appointment and just all around a wonderful experience.

Dr Underwood cares , understands and is a wonderful addition to the already impressive team! Every time I call, the team is very efficient. The front office staff are wonderful. Our whole family goes to Arthritis & Sports in Sterling and will continue to do so! Cjp

I have had great success with my treatments from Dr. Underwood. He is an excellent physician, so knowledgeable, and so great that he can offer non-surgical treatments to promote healing and decrease pain. I feel fortunate in that I am a physical therapist, and I am aware of a lot of non-surgical treatments, but he always educates and reviews thoroughly with you your diagnosis, discusses procedures, and treatments that you may benefit from, and does an excellent job educating you about the procedure and all the pros and cons. He takes his time with you, is both professional and personable. Here’s a great complement to this excellent clinical practice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Goodwin in S. Riding since 2018. PT/Dry Needling with A&S was very successful for ongoing muscle issues in my back/neck and shoulders while working in S. Riding. I changed jobs but live in Hamilton and refuse to go anywhere else even though the distance is prohibitive to convenience! I presented with what I thought was my ‘typical’ muscle issue, and Dr. Goodwin referred me to Dr. Underwood who performed tests to determine the issue. He was professional and kind during what can be uncomfortable for some. His diagnosis was a welcome relief. He is a colleague in a practice that I highly recommend, in fact I would not be able to find a better provider for my orthopedic needs. Arthritis & Sports doctors, clinicians, therapists and administrators/office staff are my heroes!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough! ~H.P. , Hamilton VA
